I have this friend I've known since the beginning of the semester (about 3 months). I go to his house for study groups about 3 times a week. Its just me and a couple guys hanging out and doing some homework. I like him as a friend but i think he likes me alittle more but i am not sure.

He texted me the other day and asked if my thanksgiving break was good. I said yeh but that the following week was gonna suck because i hadn't done any homework over break. He replied " I agree haha. Would it suck less if i asked u out for a movie? "

I debated for a couple minutes if this was a date or not but replied yeah cus I actually do want to see a movie.

Is this a date or am I over thinking it? Also, if it is, how can I let him know I only like him as a friend. When I get there and pay for my own ticket would that be a good hint?

By the way I'm 19 and he's 20 if that matters at all.

I am a 19 year old living with my parents while studying engineering and business in college. I will be a sophmore this fall. My parents ran into an old friend and she offered me a job. I accepted and now I have been working at an accounting job for the past 3 months and it is my first job. I work 3 days a week 8-4pm. I make good money.

But atleast twice a week i am told that i am too slow and that i am not doing things right. It makes me feel so incompetent. I would have thought that since i was working too slowly for my boss, i would have been fired by now. But i havent. This fall i will not be able to work as my schedule will be full with school. I am also leaving on vacation with my family in july and will be gone for 2 weeks.

Now my question is, should i try and stick it through up until i start school in the fall? Or should i put in a 2 week notice and quit before i leave for vacation so the weight of work can be off of my shoulders?

Please help me figure this out because i cannot weigh out the pros and cons by myself.

I have a game called High School Hero on my ipod and when you reach a certain goal on the game, you recieve a kiip reward which offers real life rewards like free things or $10 off for certain places. I would like to know if anyone knows of any other games which have this cool feature.

I need to make a matlab program that lets you put in any size matrix with any numbers and solve the inverse of the matrix. I know i should probably use a for loop but im not sure how to write it. can you please help? Anything relevant is appreciated.

I have tried (-(-6:0.06:6)^2)*cos((-6:0.06:6)-3)+2*(-6:0.06:6)*sin((-6:0.06:6)-3)+2*cos((-6:0.06:6)-3) but I don't understand how MATLAB works. I want my graph to go from x = -6 to 6.
