I'm two weeks late and after a positive digital home pregnancy test I called for an immediate appointment with my doctor (my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months). I had a miscarriage last October followed by a d&c but have always been regular, before and after miscarriage. I've noticed slight discomfort in my lower abdomen, light nausea, lightheadedness and increase in sense of smell. My doctor told me my urine and blood test were negative and wasn't pregnant b/c of my progesterone level. I took another hpt and it was negative. Has anyone else experience something like this situation? I believe my doctor that my levels show I was never pregnant but at the same time I can't help but wonder if there is a reasonable explanation of the symptoms and missing cycle.
