I got my cartilage piercing about a year and a half ago and love it. However, it still hurts and now it's got a bump on the back and sort of on the front. I guess the bump has always been there and at first it was just a small red bump but I think it's growing. I know you're not supposed to sleep on it until it heals but I kept rolling over on it and would sometimes wake up in the morning sleeping on it. I'm wondering if I've somehow really messed it up. I want to keep the piercing but I also want the bump to go away. In addition, the bump hurts and I just changed it for the first time (I heard it was almost impossible to get the hoop back in once you took it out so I waited awhile) and it hurt when I took it out and when I put another earring in. It also hurts if I touch it or push on the bump. Please what do I do to make the bump go away!

PS Just telling me I effed up my piercing is not going to help
