  • Is the government of these United states out of control?

Are we the people of these United States in control of our government? When is the last time that you were allowed to vote on any important issues, like universial health care, loser pay court systems, any of the thousands of laws that are passed every year, and all the new rules and regulations that are put into effect every year, being able to vote rather our paid officials get a raise or not, and when have we been allowed to nomanate who is running for president, these people are picked by the govenrment parties, they choose who we vote for to be president.

  • Is it fair that our school systems spend millions on sports programs to cater to a few students?

Do you think it is wise for our school systems to be building and maintaining multi-million dollar sports programs that cater to a hundred students, so they can play football, baseball, basketball, ect....when our schools are always complaining that they are broke and do not have the funds needed to buy new books and supplies, teachers are under paid and have to beg for donated supplies or use their own money to be able to have teaching supplies.

They claim that these programs make the school money,.. yet the facts are that they use way more than they could ever make, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out, most high schools have 5 to 10 million invested in staduims and gyms that are used by a select few. then add the yearly maintenance and wages for the staff and you are using over 50 percent of the schools budget to pay for and maintain these activities, these are just quick facts, and our schools have no p. e. program, so tell me is this wise?
