Who they will let in? My SO thinks they will not allow his Dad into a facility as he "Only" has SS income. My Mom has SS, a pension and Long Term Care insurance, and the facilities would prefer residents with greater income. Isn't that illegal?

Often in Yahoo mail, or Y!A, there are many glitches (for lack of a better term) that keep me from navigating the sites. At times I cannot view email, other times I cannot view the Q's & A's here. After posting a recent Q, I added details. Then when I came back to read replies, my additional details did not show up under the Q. What is going on?

So many young parents behave selfishly by not actively participating with their kids. They let them entertain themselves with TV, computer, video games etc...What would be your ideal solution for this problem?

Recently someone made multiple internet purchases on my checking account. The card was not lost, I still have it, the bank had me apply for a new card and file for fraud. The police state that a subpeona is necessary to release the address that the merchandise was to be sent to. Fortunately the bank must reimburse me, but I want to know if the thief is caught, and if not, why the address is not traced (or other methods that seem obvious).

We live in an area where power outages occur frequently. There is a debate in our house as to how much food, batteries, candles, etc..are necessary to have on hand. Sometimes we go 1-2 days without power, and I like to be prepared. What do you have on hand for these emergencies?
