  • why my brake lights go out when my lights are on?

    i have a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee. the problem im having is when i have my lights on and press on the brake my brake lights go out, but the third brake light stays on. this only does this when the lights are on. when the lights are off and when i press on the brake pedal the brake lights go on but seem a little dim any suggestions thanks

  • how do you gut out a catalytic converter?

    i have a 00 mustang ,which has a factory h- pipe w/ 2 catalytic converters on it . i want to smash the ceramic out of the cats . does anyone no how to do this . i was told to heat it up then smack it with a hammer . does anyone no if this works or not.

  • i have a 2000 mustang gt that cranks for ever before it starts?

    my car when you first start it in morning it cranks for about 3-5 sec before it starts .Then after you drive for awhile and shut it off then go to start it again it takes for ever to start seem like 8-10 sec or so. I was told it was the idle air control valve so replace that and had the injector cleaned by a dealership,and it still does it any suggestions

  • my 2001 Lincoln navigator vibrates when it shifts through the gears

    when i get on the gas a little and it shifts through the gear it almost seem like i am going over a rumble strips when it shifts , but it doesn't do it all the time.i have had the tranny flushed and replaced the the filter , but it didn't take care of the problem

  • how to hook up a car radio/ cd player to my boat

    I'm trying to hook up a extra car radio cd player up to my 14' aluminum boat. i started by cutting out a hole for the radio and speaker in a 2x10 board, now i hooked the white and the white /blk wires to the the one speaker and then the gray and gray /blk wire to the other speaker. i also hooked the red and yellow wire to the poss terminal of the battery and i hooked the blk. ground wire from the radio to the neg term. , and also ran a wire from the back of the radio to the neg term. of the battery .but the problem i am having is i cant get any sound from the radio any suggestion on what to do thanks.
