  • my iphone 4s won't sync to my facebook contacts?

I go through the normal steps to sync up, the download bar appears briefly on the bottom of the screen, but then disappears. I've tried letting it sit for 2 hours(should only be few seconds/minute) restarting my phone and checking for updates. Has any one else had this problem? Or better yet know a solution!

    Thanks,

  • How much are mirrors worth?

    I have about a dozen mirrors, they are all 48"x48"and 34"x 50"+

I have them listed for $60 obo, is that too much or too little? I've seen mirrors this size going for what seems like huge amounts. I don't want to make more then they are worth, but i also want them to sell quickly. They are all frameless and glass if that makes much difference.

    Thanks!

  • Only have a full choke tube, how do you get a thread protector or...what?

I just bought a Remington 11-87 that came with a full choke for turkey. I want something for buckshot and maybe slugs. My other shotgun is a pump action that has 2 barrels, one VR and one rifled. So i've just swapped barrels. This will be my first time using/buying choke tubes.

I need a choke that's good for buck shot, or a thread protector. The slugs wouldn't be for hunting, as i will just pick up a rifled choke. But How open does it need to be for slugs/buckshot?

Thanks in advance to all the people that give a real, well thought out answer.

  • My taxes were filed wrong, can I fix this?

From when I was 16 until now, 20, I've been an independent. This year my grandparents have came back into my life, and at this point I'm not sure if that's for the better or worse.

They took all my tax info and had there "accountant" file them. They assured me they would not claim me, as I most definitely was not there dependent. Long story short, They claimed me as a dependent which will ruin my college scholarship and most likely put me in debt. I received a check for $1 dollar, which is definitely a mistake.

How can I refile, or take care of this. All of these changes will drasticly affect the next 4 years of my life.

Thank you everyone for any and all advice, even if it is just on how to deal with crazy estranged relatives.

  • Who can thread barrels for Rem-choke, budget conscious?

I'm looking for a link possibly or a reference to a good shop that can thread a barrel and possibly re-bead it. Barrel would be a Remington 870 Wingmaster 12g taken from full choke to accept rem choke. Price is very much an issue at this time, and google seems to be firing blanks.

  • Can you "Scout mount" a pistol scope with short eye relief on an AR with the carry handle?

I Have a quad rail on my bushmaster, and i'm thinking of using a pistol scope with 12" or so eye relief and mounting it between the front site post and the carry handle. More or less a poor mans magnifier. Anyone ever seen or heard of something similar?

I'll most likely raise the the mount base and co-witness the sites.

And plz don't just say i should buy a flat top upper, it'll be in the safe in a month or 2!

  • Will S&W work on a firearm if your not the original owner?

I bought a SW40VE (new Sigma) from someone locally. Online it says they'll go over the trigger for free, but I'm concerned about sending it in since the warranty only covers the original purchaser.

  • Most reliable bolt action in 308 win.?

I'm putting stock and barrel length aside and concentrating on the action. What is the most reliable action, and which will last the longest under moderate use.

I understand the whole extractor/ejector, but i'm unsure which is more reliable.

    Action like Rem 700, M70, M77, etc.

  • Scope rings don't get tight on the base. AR15 Kwik site brand?

I bought a kwik sight mount that came with rings. The mount is nice, i like how high above the iron sights are. I put on the mount and then went to put on the rings and the bases to the rings are very loose. They don't tighten down like some bases do. I only put it all together to check it's clearance in my case. The scope isn't in the rings. Would that make a difference? This is the first time i've ever had rings that were loose. Should i just buy another set of rings for it?

  • 20 mm rifle. What would be best, or legal to hunt?

I'd much rather have this then a beat up M16 with my class 3. But my question is since it's a class 3 can you hunt with it? I believe it's illegal to hunt with full autos, but does that apply to all class 3 firearms? Or am i mistaken about hunting with full autos, i cannot seem to find any info on it one way or the other.

Heres the rifle in this hypothetical question:

  • 308 upper that will fit a Bushmaster xm15e2s lower?

Can someone give me a better run down of how the uppers swap out on to the lower receivers? Does the buffer spring need to be replaced, how much faster will it wear out the lower? I've assumed the lowers go on just like any 5.56 upper, same pins, same buffer tube setup etc.

Am i wrong in my assumption? I've always been biased towards the AR platform, but should i just buy a Rem 700 and save a few bucks?

  • I've got the AR15, any reviews on the AR10(R25), maybe an M1 garand? Hunting, target, etc.?

I love my AR15, i've taken coyotes at 200 yards and piled em up. I almost bought the 308 but ammo prices made me decide on the 223. I've been thinking about getting another.
