In our business it states in our contract we have to pay excess of £250 & its £100?
But now they worried due to previous claims effecting their insurance they do not want to put thru Insurance, recent accident they expecting employee to pay for it! Surely this is illegal?

Still not sure about this, I am a driver and we loaded up our luton van from hotel (garage where we stored our stuff) and drove to said location, been told I do not get paid for this? Surly as a driver of the company van taking equipment to site I should be paid? Get paid by the hour...I think the quibble is whether passengers that are employees should be paid....And if we finish at that site and drive to another site should we get paid for this? Our business really tightening up!
