  • Allen Bar & Grill that opens early for World Cup?

What's the name of the bar in Allen, TX that opens early for World Cup games? There's a place that opens at 6:00 AM for every World Cup game. Would like to watch USA and England at the same time. OR....any place that will be open in the Frisco area.

  • 10 or 12 team fantasy football league?

I'm in a 10-team fantasy football league that is voting on moving to a 12-team league. For the most part our scoring is relatively standard.

The main thing I like about 10 is that you can have a little bit of depth - 1 injury doesn't necessarily put you out of the running. Plus our existing 10 owners are a pretty good group. But - the added challenge of 12-teams is interesting, too. What do you think?

  • NYC: Do I have time for these 4 sites?

I have only a few hours in NYC and was wondering if I can fit these things in. I received directions from NY'ers - but my travel plans were changed and I now I only have about 5 hours maybe a little bit more. I'll be starting and finishing from Penn Station.

How long will all of these things take? Assuming I don't have time for 1 of them, which one should I skip?

    1) Statue of Liberty (We'd be seeing it via Staten Island Ferry - not going onto the island. Really curious about how long this takes).

    2) Empire State Bldg

    3) Coney Island

    4) Times Square

He really wants to see the statue and ESB. I thought Coney would be cool since it's going to be gone, but I've never been there (is it worth the time/distance)?

I hope to come back again but on this trip my son (7) and I have to pick just a couple of things that will be fun & memorable for him.

  • NYC: 4 sites, 1 day, - which order from Penn Station?

I have 1 day in New York city and want to hit 4 sites: Coney Island, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Bldg, & Times Square. I'll start and end at the train station in Manhattan. Which order do I go in? How should I go - subway, bus, cab? I don't mind doin' some walking. I'll start my day on a Friday morning, about 9:00 am and I have 9 hours. Thanks!
