One includes one about a boy in a circus, and the animals turn into humans at night, and the other is about a singer who falls in love, and at the end the singer and his lover escape off a tower because the singer's hair turned into ears or something. Does that ring any bells?

If it sounds vague, it's because I'm just going off of what I remember, since it's been a while since I've read it.
