My girlfriend and I have been living together for 4 years. However, as luck would have it we are barely making it financially right now. I am in the middle of a custody case, with my mom helping me out with lawyer bills. The one car that my girlfriend and I have is hers and is 12 years old and we keep putting money into repairs. I don't have my own car anymore as it was old and didn't work anymore. I have a son that is in elementary school that has special needs and many doctor appointments. He is with us half the week. My mom offered for me to move in with her for a year to save money for a car and some savings so my girlfriend and I can start a family in the next couple years and get married. Torn on what to do because I love my girlfriend but if anything major happens like her car breaks down and we don't have transportation than it could affect our lives in a major way as far as getting to work and taking son to school, appts. etc.

My girlfriend would stay at the apartment and pay bills with help from her mom. I would live with my mom and save quite a bit of money this way to help us later. I don't want to tear our relationship apart though and my girlfriend knows that we need to have a new car and save money so she understands but is upset by it as well.

Just looking for different suggestions regarding lessons online. I am starting with electric guitar. I have seen some reviews for different sites but sometimes they seem to just be advertising type reviews. Need honest input from someone who has experience as a musician and teacher possibly for a good outlet for proper lessons online.

I have a Fender mini strat and was thinking about buying rock band 3 and the midi pro adapter. Don't know if my regular guitar will work or if you have to buy a specific type of guitar for that game. Didn't want to spend the extra money for another guitar if not necessary.

I have seen many different avenues to pursue outside of having to pay for cooking school. One in particular that caught my eye was Chef Todd Mohr. Also maybe reading books to explain cooking. I don't want to just have books with recipes that don't teach the whys and hows of cooking methods. Any suggestions?

My gf and I argue quite a bit over various stuff. We still love each other. What is a normal rate of arguing with someone in a relationship more or less that would still make the relationship healthy instead of unhealthy? Sometimes I feel we argue about alot of petty stuff and some things we repetitively get on each other's case about. I guess I get aggravated by all the arguments. I just want to be able to relax instead of always having issues.

My gf gets upset when I masturbate. However, our sex life has diminished quite a bit over the past year. We have been together for 4 years. I told her that I was frustrated as I have a high sex drive and us being together only once every week or two is not enough. I have tried to suggest other things we could do that would increase the excitement of being together (nothing crazy or bizarre) but nothing ever comes of it and its just the same ol, same ol. She is overweight but it doesn't bother me, she has been heavy since we met and we used to do it all the time. Any suggestions?

My current gf had an issue when my ex (whom I have a son with and raised her other son for the 2 years we were together) talked to me about an issue with her other son regarding his father(who has never been around for him). My ex was upset and I talked to her on the phone for like 2 minutes and didn't even really get into a whole major conversation about it anyway. My current gf thinks I disrespected her because she said that since I am not with my ex even though we have a son together that it is inappropriate for me to talk with her about her other son if there was an issue. I don't feel that I am wrong by lending an ear. I don't discuss things like that with my ex on a regular basis anyway.

My girlfriend and I have been together for about a year. Everything was fine until recently. She has started being more controlling as far as criticizing what I do and wear and so forth. She has some jealousy issues with other women. Such as my son's mom but I reasssure her all the time that I only want her and no one else. I have tried to initiate being with her and she says she is tired or whatever. So I don't know what to think because she still is coming over and seeing me.

I moved back in with my mom and sister. Everything was ok for awhile then all this drama started between us. My son stays with us part of the week. They constantly complain about not having enough room and that I am lucky to be living here. They constantly give me a guilt trip about burdening them. I don't like the constant fighting in front of my son. Don't know if I can take living here anymore. Then I came home yesterday and see my mom going back in the house without my son. I asked her where he was at. She said he was in the house. So I went in the house to see 2 pots of boiling water on burners and stove on while she was upstairs for 5-10 min putting laundry in then she has the nerve to act like I have no right to be upset. Both my sister and my mom constantly put me down and fight with me. I don't if going to a shelter for now is the answer but I have tried to talk to them before and it doesn't go anywhere.

I had recently moved back in with my mom and sister. I have my son half the week per a custody agreement with his mom. Lately, I have been taking a lot of negative actions from my family. They constantly tell me that my stuff is in their way and I'm lucky I live there. They try to take over my life with my son at times and tell me that they will take him and raise him because they don't think I am a good enough father. My girlfriend sees this and she gets upset because she knows that is not the case. I need to move out of this situation but I don't have money saved to leave right now. I don't know if a shelter is a good place to go to save money while I am working to afford a new place to live. I have tried talking to my family about this on numerous occassions and it changes for a few days and then it's back to the same stuff. Any advice would help.

My fiance had slept with her ex the last time we split up and now is leaving to move away in 2 months and I don't know if I will be able to meet with her because my son is here so I am stuck. I have feelings for both of them but I am questioning my feelings for fiance since I am starting to develop feelings for new girl. Help????

I met a girl at a bar a few weeks ago. She acts like she is into me by dancing with me and singing love songs to me. She got upset over a couple songs about her ex that was playing too. She still talks about ex when I see her and they have been split up for about 9 months or so. He came to town with his new gf for a week to visit friends and told her he wanted her back. Then she tells my sis"I love your brother and he is a good buddy" I gave her my # and she called me that night. Before her ex was here she was still dancing with me and singing to me sometimes but it seemed more pronounced that night becuase her ex was there. I don't know if I should try to pursue something or if I am just going to be a rebound or if she really only likes me as a friend. I have no idea about what all this means. I met a girl at a karaoke bar and she is sending mixed signals. I would like to get to know her better as time goes on and like her very much. Then 1hr later she says that when she meets someone to go out with that she will explain to them that her and her ex fiance are just friends (she told me this after a discussion about her ex and his new gf about how his gf acts towards her). She says that she is not in love with him but still maintains a friendship. So she acts like one minute I am important but then says stuff that is like a friend?????
