I don't understand why I'm so unhappy. I'm not perfect, but I have a good life. I have a extremely loving family, I'm smart (IQ of 147), I go to a school I love, I'm a good athlete, I have good friends, I am content with my appearance. I have a good relationship with my amazing boyfriend. I'm in amazing physical shape. I have hobbies (art, animals, computers), I am apart of my church and I volunteer.

I've seen doctors for a long time. I have been diagnosed with depression since 3rd grade. We've treated physical things (vitamin deficiencies, keep on a regular sleep schedule, eat a healthy diet) and tried many different medications. I go to therapy regularly.

10 years later, and no matter what, I'm always sad. I try to ignore my sadness and convince myself to be happy but it doesn't work. I don't want to kill myself, but sometimes I have thoughts about what would happen if I died. I've told my close family, doctor, and therapist about these thoughts so they know to look if I ever were to become suicidal.

How can I be happy?

I've been a tortoise owner for quite some time now but I have one question that I can't seem to find the answer to. I recently switched one of my tortoises substrates from cage carpet to sand. He likes the sand a lot better. But the sand smells sooo bad. Do u think i could mix baking soda in with the sand to keep the smell down?

I know this is super stupid cause I'm only 16 but remember your teenage relationships?

Ok so my boyfriend and I got into a fight. At the end my boyfriend just stomped away and I told him we were over. I got very overheated in the argument and said things I didn't mean, including that I wanted the relationship to end. I texted him to say sorry and I would like it if we could talk. He said "What's there to talk about?" He is clearly still mad at me.

It's common knowledge that you should wait awhile to talk to your ex so they have time to cool down and stuff. Most advice online says two weeks to a month is how long you should keep to yourself. But this isn't one of those serious grownup three year long relationships. We have only been dating for a month.

Our fight was two days ago. How long do you think I should wait until I talk to him again and try to work things out? I was thinking probably four more days (till Sunday). And do you have any other advice for me?

When this guy comes up, he opens my locker door, looks in my mirror and says, "Wow, I'm sexy." Then he looks at me for a response. I usaully just look at the floor and laugh a little. Is there anything else I can do or say to "flirt" more with him?

My friend told me that if you color your hair when you have your period, the color doesn't stick to your hair right or something.

Uggg! my skin is so oily and its always shiny. I wash my face tree times a day, but that doesn't help.
