Hi i'm going to university soon and i have to pick my dorm buddies. Can some one give me your opinion based on your experience of which kind of ppl to get? Like should i get the nerdy ones or the fun ones. Also does it matter if we are in different faculties or should be be in the same field so we can help eachother. B/c i was thinking that ppl dont spend much time in dorms.

hi i'm going to waterloo university for engineering this fall and i'm consider to buy a laptop. But what i'm not sure is if i should get a average one or one that has dedicated graphics so i can run some games. Can som1 tell me if the extra 300 bucks is worth it and will i have time to play games in university?> thanks alot

ok so if i have a slow ac current, and i measure it w/ a voltmeter, then the reading should jump from positve to negative values. Is this true?

ok i've built a simple dc to ac current with a 555 timer, i know the wave is not sinusoidal but its still alternating. If i make the timer slow and plug a voltmeter in it goes from positive reading to negative reading. so is this a correct alternating current? Because my teacher told me that it will only go from positive to 0 volts.

ok to my knowledge vcc is boolean 1 and gnd is boolean 0 and also vcc is positive and gnd is -ve right? could any1 just confirm this plz. thanks alot

i always seem to cram the few days before a test. i never want to do work all the time. i dunno why. its not i'm a bad student or anything. i still get mid 80 average in high school .but i would like to change. how can i achieve this

rogers is like limiting our internet to 60g per month, well depending on ur plan. this is so not fair. first the wanted to get a internet cable for each computer but then the router was invented. oh thank god. i want to know what you guys think of this.
