  • Windows Media Player can't find my Music?

I just bought an external hard drive and moved all of my music to it. I changed the rip folder for WMP11 to the music folder on the new drive. I cleared out the hold library database and attempted to rescan the new folder. For some strange reason, Media player only finds 20 of my 1000+ songs. It does seem to be scanning the right folder, but does not add most of my music. What's going on?

  • How can I recover data from an MS-Exchange Server?

My client has an MS-Exchange server that was recently relocated to another office. In the process, the domain name and IP address has changed. Since that change the Exchange Server, nor the System Attendent, will not start. Changing them back does not help as the primary domain controller that controlled this server is no longer running (nor available).

We only need to extract data (contacts, calendar events, old emails) from the server's information store. We do not need to get the Server started again (unless that is the only way to recover the data) because we have new services in place.

If there is some utilitiy or tool out there that will let me extract the data without having to spend alot of time reconfiguring the server, that would be ideal.

Thanks in advance for any help you Exchange Experts can provide.

  • Why would a laptop spontaneously reboot when driving down the road?

I have a client who uses his laptop in the car. When he is driving down I95 in Philly (between Cottman and Bridge streets), his PC reboots. This happens at the same spot every time. Anyone know why something like that would happen?
