I saw this before, but usually it was fixed within a few minutes. Now I am stuck since 2 hours, I can't open my yahoo mail, can't even log out. "Temporary error" but it lasts too long to be temporary.

I have already rebooted twice and even deleted my history and my temporary files, as I saw that tipp in a similar post, but it didn't help me.

Is this just some bug that will go away, or do I have a real problem here? I am in the process of applying for a job and have given my yahoo email address, now I am getting nervous that I can't see an important email in time.

I have Windows Explorer 8, but for unknown reasons this is not recognized by some sites, they think I am using IE6 and urge me to upgrade to IE8 (which I already have and currently use). Could that have anything to do with that?

I am a German immigrant and living in the USA for 4 years now. I am married to a "first class" citizen (that is really how they call them!) and therefore have legal status as a "permanent resident". I am aware that you have to be 5 (or 8??) years in this legal status before becoming a citizen via "naturalization".

NOW MY QUESTION:

Is it *mandatory* that immigrants have to speak the "Pledge of Allegiance", with that infamous Eisenhower addition "one nation under god"??????

I am of pagan faith and DO NOT worship the abrahamic deity. Any oath made to THAT god would be a false oath from me.

Now, what are non-abrahamics (non-jewish, non-christians and non muslims) saying in that case?

I cannot possibly be the only Pagan immigrating?

What do Buddhists say? And Hindus? And Atheists?

Although it is still so much time until I can think about naturalization, I am already really worried about that!!!

Earlier this year, Blockbuster offered this great service: you pay 10 $ a month, we mail you a movie, after watching you return it to our store. There you will get another movie for free, right away. The store scanns the movie which had been returned by you, that gives a signal to the "Mothership" and will start the shipping process of the next movie.

OK, that's how it was until last week. They did mail the next movie a day after the return to the store, NOT after the physical return of that movie.

Last week they have changed their plans, and for now less service we were given a 70% price raise.

But, we didn't cancel, because we thought, we'd still have the advantage, opposite to Netflix, that a returned movie to a store will start the shipping process right away.

Not anymore!

The DVD was returned on Sunday, and they shipped the new one today (Thursday)! And the service guy pretends it had always been like this. Is he only playing dumb? Or is that their new strategy?

On my 360 site I had 102 photos in various albums (like "my cats", "our house", "vacation" etc). Every picture was sorted into an album, and each picture had a name. Like a picture that shows my cats Lotte and Margarethe, it would be in the folder "my cats", and the photo's name would be "Lotte and Margarethe". That worked fine, and I was absolutely happy with it.

Now I came back to edit some things, and I don't recognize my own page anymore! All names have been scrambled, and the folders are no longer there. Not one name fits to the photos anymore. Vacation photos have now cat's names, and sunset pictures are carrying wrong locations. I HATE THIS!

I have never asked for this kind of "improvement", so why do they do that? What can I do to get it back the way it was (because that worked just fine)???

When I log in, all my blog entries re-appear, also my listed friends can see all entries. But the "public" sees only the first 4 entries. Why is that? I have set the blog to be seen by public, all entries are set the same, so why are the first 4 shown and not all the others after them?
