  • Disputes in Horse loans?

I have 2 horses out on loan ot one person, i have a basic contract that states either party must give two months notice in writting to terminate the agreement.

As the person has an other horse i gave them extra notice to allow them to make alternative arrangements for company for there horse, i gave this notice last week, and stated i would remove the horses on the 1st july.

However the person is now saying that she wants them removed by the end of this month, as she isnt going to pay for them to stay with her.

As it states she must give 2 months notice in writting to terminate the contract can i force her to pay for them untill the contract is due to end?

She is saying that because the contract was not stamped in a court that it isnt valid. i have never heard of that, and as she signed and agreed to it i thought she would be legally bound by it.

    Anyone got any advice?

  • 95 passat Gear box problem?

have a 1.8, 95 passat estate which has just developed a gearbox problem, i can no longer get reverse or fifth, and first gear is where reverse is, which i have to push the gearstick down and slip it in to the exact same place where reverse should be, and also second gear is the same, i have to push the gearstick down and to the lower left,

third is there and so is fourth but the there is a lot of play while in 3 & 4th and it refuses to go into fifth, could this be a selector rod or some kind of linkage at fault or has the gearbox got a terminal problem, any information would be much appreciated.

There was no bangs or anything and nothing obvious to hear or feel

  • How do I keep a christmas tree living?

    Ok here we go.....

I bought a potted living spruce tree for a outside Christmas tree.

However i have discovered it has very little roots, and this is not being helped by the high winds which are disturbing the roots and making it blow over and out of the pot!

So i have tied it up from all sides in the hope that will support it.

Any tips on how to keep it alive and how to encourage more root growth?
