  • How to connect Google Plus page to Google Analytics?

Please can someone give me a detailed explanation of how to connect a Google Plus page to Google Analytics? I already have my own website connected to Google Analytics but I would like my Google Plus business page connected too.

I have tried going to the "Google Analytics" section of the "My Business" page in Google Plus and click the "Get Started" link and this takes me to the Google Analytics site but there is no sign of a link to my Google Plus page. Is there something else I need to do to connect them? Please help as I can find no guide anywhere else.

  • Computer monitor has damaged resistor?

A computer monitor I was using has stopped working. There was a sudden strong smell of a component overheating and the monitor went blank. I opened up the monitor to examine the components for damage. As far as I can see the only damaged component is a 0.36 ohm resistor which has a large burnt hole in the side of it. I have a replacement resistor of the same value to put there, but I was wondering if there is another problem. Could the burnout have been caused by another component stopping working or is it more likely that the resistor simply failed?

  • Business name and website name?

I am self employed, am signed up as a sole trader and my business name is my own name. I am in the process of setting up a website for the business to sell items and I have decided what I want to call the website. Will I have to change my business name to match the website(and web address) name or is it OK that they are different? I will still be displaying my Business name and address in an information section of the website. I just want to know if it is legal? I am in the UK.

  • ASP.NET web page - Visual Studio settings?

I am designing an ASP.NET web page using Visual Studio. The web page has one large panel at the top of the page and two smaller panels side by side below it. The two lower panels sit side by side by using the CSS float property.

When I view the web page in my web browser it is displayed correctly. But when I view the page in Design view in Visual Studio, the two lower panels appear one above the other, instead of side by side. It appears this is a problem with Visual Studio itself as when I close the Properties window at the right hand side to make more space for the editor, the panel pops up next to the other one where it should be.

I was wondering if there is a setting in Visual Studio I can change to stop this happening so I can view the page in the Design editor as it should be? Or is there no setting to do that and maybe it is to do with my code? Hope this makes sense!

  • urban dictionary changes?

I have gone to the urban dictionary site today and the design of the site has been updated. The number of thumbs up / down are no longer displayed. The main problem though is that when I click a thumb up / down, it just takes me up to the top of the page. If I repeat this, the same thing happens. I have no idea if my thumb has been counted, as no message is displayed. Anyone else having the same problems?

  • How do you get Deviantart ratings?

I have recently signed up with Deviantart and I have noticed that when I upload a picture, it does not have the option on the page for users to rate it. What I mean is the little smiley faces where a user can choose, Love, Joy, Wow, etc. How do you get this on the page? Do you have to have a special account to do this?

  • How to change the name of a photo in Photobucket?

I recently have been forced to upgrade to the new Photobucket. Can anyone give me instructions on how to change the name of a photo which is in one of my albums on Photobucket (other than deleting the photo, changing its name on my computer and uploading it again)? As far as I can see, there is not other way to do it.

  • Virgin mobile Pay as you Go data add-on?

I am on Virgin mobile and and I am considering getting the Pay as you Go data add-on so I can access the Internet for £5 a month. If I did not have enough money in my airtime balance to pay another £5 on the add-on renewal date, would they simply cancel the add-on or would I get charged a penalty for not having the money to renew the add-on? I am not on a contract with them on my phone, it is just Pay as you Go.

  • What price do retailers pay for DVD's and CD's?

I just wondered how much it costs retailers to buy DVD's and CD's before selling them to the public? How much would it cost for a high street store to buy them? What is the lowest quantity of a particular DVD or CD a retailer could buy from a wholesaler(for example, would they have to buy 100 copies)?

  • Is there a cancellation fee for switching our line rental away from BT?

I am considering switching from one Orange Broadband package to another where I pay line rental to Orange instead of BT. Can you tell me if there is a cancellation fee which I would have to pay to BT for switching my line rental from BT to Orange? We have had our phone and line rental with BT for years. We pay monthly by direct debit.

  • Can you recommend a wired router?

I have a broadband internet connection which connects to my computer. Two other computers can connect to the Internet through mine. I am considering getting a wired router so all three computers can go on the Internet at the same time.

Can anyone recommend a router for me? The main thing I would need is the ability to monitor the amount downloaded from each computer - I do not want to go over our download limit. I need it to be a wired router not wireless so the router can be connected to network cables.

  • What date should I start my new car insurance?

I am currently looking to change car insurance companies. I am in the UK. My current car insurance ends at Noon on 29th March. Since my insurance ends at Noon, should I start my new insurance with another company on 29th March so that the two overlap (for half a day!) or should I start the new one on 30th March, so I go for half a day without insurance? I assume that most insurance car policies start at midnight and you can't change the start time online, only the start date? What would be best?

  • No Claims Discount requirements?

I am filling in a car insurance price comparison on Compare The Market.com. One insurer which has given me the cheapest offer, has the following requirements for No Claims Discount. It must be -

    - from a policy that expired within the last 12 months

    - isn’t already in use on another car insurance policy

The insurance I have at the moment is set for renewal on 29th March. If I switch to another company, I intend to start the new policy on 29th March when the other policy ends.

Does that mean that the policy I have at the moment will have expired in the last 12 months, if it ends just as the new one starts? Will this meet the new companies No Claims Discount requirements? Also, since the new policy will start when the old one ends will the No Claims Discount count as not being in use on another policy?

  • How many years NCD do I have?

I am filling in a car insurance price comparison on Compare The Market.com. I have come to the question "Any No Claims Discount?". It has the option to enter a value from 1 year to 15+ years.

On my insurance document I have at the moment, at the no claim discount section, it says I have -

"65% (6 or more years NCD) protected"

Does this mean I should enter 6 years for the value in the form, or is it a value greater than this, maybe all the years I have been driving when I have not had a claim?Or something else?

  • Car insurance quote problem?

I am getting a car insurance quote from Compare the Market. I have to answer the following question -

Any motor accidents or claims in the last 5 years?

(Include all incidents and claims involving this or any other vehicle (including company vehicles) in the last 5 years.)

Although I have had no accidents, I did claim last year for a cracked windscreen. I got a new one through my Excess which I paid £50 for. Would I count this as a claim or should I not count it as it is on my Excess?

We have caller ID for our phone. We sometimes get "Withheld", "International" and "Private" on the caller ID but can someone tell me exactly what it means if it says "Unavailable"? Is this always an International number too or can it be from the UK? Please can you give me some details about it?
