Why is my.yahoo so slow when picking up RSS feed updates?
My blog's feed goes through feedburner, and other newsreaders pick up new entries after only about an hour. But on my.yahoo homepage, it takes four hours or more for new entries to show up? So why so slow, and what can I do to speed things up?
1 AnswerMy Yahoo1 decade agoWill Hillary accept the job of Secretary of State?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Sen. Hillary Clinton, who lost to Barack Obama in the Democratic presidential primary, is being considered to serve as secretary of state in the Obama administration, NBC News reported on Thursday.
The report cited two unnamed advisers to President-elect Obama. The report said Clinton's office would only say that any decisions on the appointment would be up to the president-elect.
The former first lady, who was in a drawn-out battle for the Democratic presidential nomination, is in her second term as a senator from New York.
17 AnswersElections1 decade agoHas anyone else noticed that the Y!A spell checker no longer flags "Obama" as a spelling error?
Did he have to win the election to earn that bit of respect from Yahoo!?
No rants, please.
6 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs any one else sad that Studs Terkel didn't live long enough to see Barack Obama elected?
If you don't know who Studs Terkel was, or want to use this question to slam Obama, please save it.

Poll Says McCain Hurts His Bid by Using Attacks

7 AnswersElections1 decade agoCampaign volunteers only: What did you do *today* to help your candidate?
There is a lot of hot air here in YA. The proof is in the actions. So if you're not volunteering for a campaign, please don't answer. If you are, please tell everyone who you are supporting, and what you did today.
I am supporting Obama, and I made about 150 phone calls.
No partisan rants, please!
4 AnswersElections1 decade agoAren't you glad Obama and McCain didn't bring up Keating and Ayers tonight?
Even though they got their digs in, both rose above the smears of the their campaigns' ads and internet postings.
Please just answer this non-partisan question. Save your rants for the other questions.
Thanks.
38 AnswersElections1 decade agoPlease respond *only* if the debate this evening *changed* your mind about either candidate?
90% of us already knew who we are voting for. If you really changed your mind after watching the debate, please briefly say who you were supporting, who you are now supporting, and why.
If you just want to rant about your favorite or trash his opponent, please do it elsewhere.
Thanks.
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat did you think of Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on SNL?
Tina was a guest in the opening segment tonight, and did a better job of being Sarah than perhaps Sarah herself. And of course, Amy Poehler did her usual great job as Hillary.
Tina Fey for VP (on Obama's ticket)!
Someone please post a YouTube clip as soon as it is available....
22 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy does Yahoo Answer's spell check flag 'Obama' and not 'McCain'?
If you are answering a question and use the word 'Obama,' it gets flagged as a spelling error. No problem with 'McCain.'
Irritating oversight, or subtle bias?
