  • Vacuum leak, what hose is this?

I have a vacuum leak, the hose circled in yellow is the one causing it. It is a short hose, it is on the passenger side, it comes off maybe 2 inches then right angles down for maybe 4-6 inches. Any thoughts on what hose it may be? This is on a 2001 Taurus.

  • Vaccum leak / Cost to fix?

I have a 2001 Taurus, I have a vaccum leak and I need to know what it will run to get it fixed. Everyone is saying 89 to diagnose it and then can not give me a cost on a fix. Any thoughts on what this should run? Also will it be okay if I drive it this way a few weeks until I can afford to fix it? Or will that cause much greater problems?

    Thank you.
