Ac/dc has had the record for the number one selling albums in the world. And slipknot may be the next band to hold that record. Furthermore both ac/dc and slipknot have many differences and similarities.

Ac/dc is a hard rock band formed in Sydney, Australia in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm. Slipknot is a nu-metal band from Des Moines, Iowa that officially formed in 1995. Ac/dc has sold an estimated 150 million albums worldwide. There largest selling album was back in black. Back in black sold an estimated 68 million albums worldwide. This made it the 5th highest selling album ever. Some of Slipknots influences are Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Korn, ac/dc, Kiss, and Beastie boys. They wear matching jumpsuits and homemade masks. But each album they have attained new masks and coveralls.
