I know some babies spit-up, but it seems that my baby spits-up more than normal. It is very random, doesn't just happen after or during a feeding. She can have a long nap and after waking, spit-up. I seriously have to change her outfit 2-3 times a day. She is gaining weight and is always happy. And it's not like it is just draining from her mouth, at times, there is some force behind it. Is this normal or is there more to this? I am just not used to this because my first baby rarely spit-up.

My 2 month old baby girl sleeps much better in her swing than her bassinet. When she is sleeping in her swing, we do not have the motion going. In her swing she will sleep about 7-8 hours at night and if she is in her bassinet, she will be up every 2-3 hours. I am concerned about her sleeping in her swing because I am not sure it is safe. Is it? We have tried to swaddle her while she is in her bassinet and we have raised up one end of the bassinet so she is at an incline. Do you think I am worrying too much about this? Should I just do what works for now and hope one day she will sleep in her bassinet or crib? Any advice would help!

I just posted a question, but failed to tell everyone that I am 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Anyways, this is what I posted before... I have been having contractions all day, started at 9am this morning and it's now 4;30pm. My contractions have been very irregular, any where from 8 to 25 minutes apart, but this is the most I have had in a day and they are starting to get pretty painful. I also have a little bit of bleeding. And at times it seems like there are blood clot looking things in the toilet. I am feeling pressure in my lower stomach, butt and at times down my leg. This is my second pregnancy. Do you think this is the early onset of labor?
