I applied October 13 and already have a deny decision. I have a 2.69 gpa, transferring from a community college. I have had to work most of my college and as a result have not spent the time I have needed to on school, started out my freshman year with a 3.2 gpa. Working has def taken a toll but I know have the opportunity to not work and just go to school. I talked about this in my essay. UIC has extended the application deadline to October 31st...what can I do? I really want to go to UIC, have wanted to since high school and i actually was accepted after high school but chose the community college route to save money. Should I try applying again? Help...?

I will be starting school end of august at UIC. When would be a good time to begin apartment searching? Someone told me 30-45 days before...

I will be attending UIC in the fall and I am planning on living there off campus. I am looking for a safe area that is in reasonable walking distance from the school, or an area that has parking included with the apartments.I am looking to spend around $1200. UIC students living off campus and/or Chicago residents answer please.

I want to open up my own business and I plan on getting a business entrepreneurship degree. Before I open up a business, which will be a salon and spa, I would like to get a job for a few years so I can put away some money. I want a job that will pay well. What would be a good job to get with a business entrepreneurship degree?
