Can a property owner evict a renter under lease to sell a home?
We are currently under lease on the home we're renting in the state of Idaho. The owner wants to attempt a quick sell on the property, hoping to capitalize on the federal tax break incentive for home buyers. The lease runs through the end of June, but the owner has informed us that we are "released" from the lease and can vacate at any time, but that we need to vacate by the end of March. My understanding is that the owner cannot terminate the lease to sell, but rather would have to sell the home under lease and that the new buyer would have to be aware of and willing to take on the lease. Is this correct, or can the owner force an eviction prior to the sale?
6 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoCould Yahoo Answers be the subject of a horror film?
In today's world, there is such an abundance of information floating around out there that people have become accustomed to logging and detailing every aspect of their lives without any thought for how that information may come back to haunt them. Our spending habits are recorded. Our electricity consumption is recorded. And thanks to things like blogs and Yahoo Answers, our thoughts, beliefs, and biases are recorded. So where does it end?
Forget cloning, could you reconstruct a person just by the data they leave behind? Or will that data be used to label and classify people by insurance companies, employers, etc.?
Your challenge is to submit your best horror film concept based on the impact that all of this data floating our there will have in the future.
