As a seasoned work professional in schools and non profits, I am currently wondering if loans can be forgiven for service given in the area of working with youth and children? If so, has anyone ever gotten partial or full loan forgiveness. I am sure the loan companies would ask for documentation, if so what was the process? thanks so much!!!

I am facilitating a youth group. I need some scenarios for them to brainstorm and discuss, then come up with a few solutions to the problem. For example, each group will do small group work at tables and discuss the one case study i guess. It would be catered to youth / foster youth / issues surrounding issues that they've dealt with and planting the idea of leadership to them. With leadership you have different ways that youth can lead: at school, in the community, at home, with their peers , etc. I'd appreciate any assistance here. Thanks so much!

I need specific name of places that sell lentils in bulk, clean, and fairly inexpensive or worth my dollar. Should I go to Whole Foods or other places as well.I would rather go where I can get the most for my money. I live in Bronx but will travel where I can. I visited recently and really like Canarsie, Williamsburg, and Clinton Hill. Are there any other places I should target. I am looking for boroughs that are diverse, fun to live in, near transportation and things I'll need like : grocery stores, ethnic food restaurants, and near bus lines and laundromats. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I prefer safer areas too. I'm a native Chicagoan who will be living and working in NYC. Thanks for your help!

My friend has fallen behind on her rent. She just started a new job. The landlord has given her a 5 day notice. They want her to pay half of the month owed but she is unable to. Mind you, this isn't her first time getting notices, and she has had a hard time paying her rent due to unemployment and unstable job conditions.

If she wants to get a new place in a nice neighborhood, what are her chances of doing so. For renting, and using her last landlords as references, should she do that to get a leg up? What are the options available to her?

I need some ways to deal with a possibly bipolar family member. They are not listening to their doctor, don't want any meds, have stopped treatment, and have destroyed their financial credit. They won't hurt anyone else, but right now, they have poor decision making. What options would the family have to address the issues if they continue. I would appreciate any good organizations, support hotlines to call to speak with professionals, and general support. Thank you.
