I know it is a long shot but does anyone who where I can find the book "The Prospect Before Us". It was published in 1800 and contained a series of essays on John Adams. You would think their would be a reprint or at least an online text but I can't find anything. If you know of where I could find a copy I would be much obliged.

(Not in a library, I can't get to most of the ones that have it and original copies are too old and value to loan)

I am looking for a toy from the 90's. It was a plush dog with a round plastic lock in the belly that had a little key that opened it. Here is what i remember about the book:

1. Each poem was by a different poet and each one had a different illustrators illustrate it.

2. There was one poem in the book about 3 naughty children who are made to live in a card board box. ( I know a poem of this description was in the book) I think two of the children were boys and one a girl.

3. There might have been another poem about a bicycle built for a lot of people, more then 4.

I really need to know the name of this book as soon as possible. If you can help i would be grateful.

I am LD(learning Disabled) and very proud. i rode a short school bus to my school. I find if so disrespectful when people use short bus as an insult. Most LD people are smarter then the idiots who use "Short bus" as a put down. I just want to get it out their that, it hurts peoples feelings, even if the don't say anything. I do not insult people because of their means on conveyance, why should i be insulted at every turn, because it is acceptable to put LD people down. I apologize for the rant, I just saw someone use "Short bus" to put someone down and it realy got me angry. i have struggled my whole life with people who judge me because of the way i learn, I know i can not change the world but I did want to put my feelings out there.
