Can the Titans win the rest of their regular season games?
They started 0-6, they now have won 3 in a row. If they win the rest of their games that means they would have won 10 STRAIGHT!
Remember, they won 10 straight last year and this team is exactly the same except the Defensive Coordinator, no Albert Haynesworth & Vince Young is the QB not Kerry Collins...oh, and they have some key injuries at Defensive Back.
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoShould TCU be in a different conference?
They've seemed to dominate the Mountain West Conference since they joined it. BYU and Utah makes a run at them every now and then and really all three of those teams are heads and shoulders above the competition in the rest of the conference. Maybe TCU to Big 12 Colorado to Mtn West?
5 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoThe Saints D has 5 pick-6's this year. Is their D good enough to get them to the SuperBowl over the Vikes & Ea?
I think the top teams in the NFC are Vikes, Saints and Eagles, I still think the Eagles are the better of the three, what do you think?
5 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoMike Leach calls Lubbock girls fat!?
TX Tech coach Mike Leach says they lost to A&M cuz the players were too focused on their fat girlfriends. I think Head Coaches in college are father figures (even when they don't want to be), so this is poor way to handle the team. What do you think? I'd like your feedback for my show http://www.thesportspiece.com/
10 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat is proper tackling form in American football?
High hits (helmet to helmet hits) in the NFL are fined and sometimes penalized. I think it's ironic because this is supposed to be the elite of the elite and I thought tackling high is considered a "bad form" tackle. am I right? What do you think?
4 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat question would you ask former College Football coach who won National Championship?
I have Steve Foster coming on my show soon (http://www.thesportspiece.com)./ He's a former Princeton running back and teammate of Dean Cane & Jason Garrett, who also was a running backs coach for the National Champion Nebraska Cornhuskers. What question(s) should I ask, be sure to vote for the top one.
2 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat question would you ask a Professional Boxer?
Professional Boxer "Wreckless" Will Chapman is booked for my show, www.thesportspiece.com, and I want to ask him a question from fans. The one with the most votes will get asked.
What would you ask a Professional Boxer if you had the chance for a one on one sitdown?
5 AnswersBoxing1 decade agoCan Subcontractor file a lien without a contract?
In TX. Is there a place online I can refer someone to?
The situation is this a subcontractor that doesn't have a written contract with the General Contractor nor Owner, didn't complete work on a job, so hasn't gotten paid all the way, but is still owed some money. Can they file a lien on the Owner's property?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWould Evangelicals vote for Romney if no Huckabee?
I read an article a year ago where a prominent Evangelical leader said that in his opinion Evangelicals would only vote for Romney IF his only competion was going against someone who doesn't seem to share Evangelical principles. (He went on to use McCain as an example). With Huck in the race, they have that 3rd option, however, it appears to be helping McCain.
There is an article online, http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2005/050... , challenging that Romney being a Mormon would keep him from winning the nomination. Here is a quote from the article found here :
"But moderate Republicans aren't the ones who could derail a Romney candidacy. His obstacle is the evangelical base... Just as it is hard to overestimate the importance of evangelicalism in the modern Republican Party, it is nearly impossible to overemphasize the problem evangelicals have with Mormons."
Huckabee is basically just winning in Southern States, which may show support to these comments.
7 AnswersElections1 decade agoCould Mormons, who are historically heavy Republican, switch to the Democratic party if Romney is shunned?
One of Romney's hurdles to getting the Rep. nomination is his religion, which Conservative Christians in the party are "concerned" about. For the most part, Democrats are much more tolerant of groups & classes. If he doesn't receive the nomination, could this be enough to sway the millions of Mormon Americans to support the other party in the upcoming Election and maybe a full "conversion"?
