What has the successive governments in India done to eradicate caste?
People still go round with caste tags to their names to get themselves easily identified and to get favours from people of the same castes in authority. This affects social equality guaranteed by the constitution.

India has been a member of the UN since its inception. It is more populous than many other coutries. It is more democratic than most other coutries.
India had worked for bringing the People's Republic of China into the UN, when most others were opposed to it. It is strange that now China is opposed to India's inclusion into the Security Council.
