  • What three facilities in Excel would I recommend, and why?

    1. Get away from trying to use nested IF() functions. Use VLOOKUP() instead.

    2. Look at Data Validation to ensure users can only enter valid data, thus preventing errors.

    3. Look at Protecting cells in sheets to prevent people overtyping functions. (We've all done it at some time!)
