My mom was invited to a family gathering in Ventura county and I’m concerned about the risk of her contracting COVID. Is there any laws prohibiting social gatherings beyond a certain number of people?

I parked in a spot in a parking lot that used to be legal parking, but was very recently painted blue diagonal lines indicating a crossing area for disabled persons and was cited the above CVC code. There are no posted signs, only paint on the ground under my already parked car saying "no parking". This is very unfair to me seeing as it used to be a legal parking spot and the area surrounding the spot was heavy with traffic and was impossible for me to see the paint on the ground, even after i got out of my car. It wasn't until i got back to my car and saw the parking ticket that i was able to see the paint under my car. How can i defend myself in this case to the point the case will be dismissed?

I motioned to get a verified complaint which was approved by the judge. The complaint I was given charged me with a different violation than what the officer wrote on the Notice to Appear. In a later court, another judge denied my motion to demurer the complaint I received claiming the NTA it's self can be used in lieu of a complaint, but the NTA has a different charge written on it than the complaint has. Although I already plead guilty, am I still able to appeal this case on the grounds my due process rights were steam rolled or any other reason?

I'm currently running Norton 360 and Webroot "Secure Anywhere" (used to be spy sweeper) and they've both kept my computer pretty healthy but the renewal price for both is around 80 bucks which I think is too much. If I switch to the free AVG, will that do everything both Norton and webroot did? if not, what else do you recommend?

I sometimes sell items through Amazon, and two packages were stolen before they even got picked up by the mail man. I live in an apartment and the outgoing mailbox has an area for out-going packages where I left the two packages. I shipped the two packages about a week apart and both were stolen from the same place before my customer ever notified me that their package was received. I want to catch who did this as I absolutely HATE thieves. I can't attach a camera as it's a public area. I need an inexpensive way to catch this person. I was thinking of shipping a camera that takes a pic when it detects motion and automatically emails the images and coordinates, but that sounds expensive. Any other ideas?

I'm 30 and decided to take a college course that's a year long seeing as I'm recently unemployed. The only college I found that offers the course I'm taking is 30 miles away (or 2 hours with Los Angeles traffic). That's a lot of gas I can't afford. My education is being paid for by the GI bill (prior military) but the cost of gas is killing me financially. Are there any grants or anything else that I can take advantage of that would pay for my travel expenses? (PLEASE don't answer if you don't know or aren't sure just to gain points.)

I got a traffic citation and I mailed in my case requesting it be dismissed for the reasons I stated. When I look up the status of my citation online, it says the status is "Court" and the court date is "6/21/2013 in TBD" (trial by declaration). Do I have to appear in court or do I just wait for them to mail back their response?

My speeding ticket area that notes the speed detection method is unclear. it has a checkbox for "Radar / Lidar Unit / Patrol Vehicle No." and another checkbox for "MVARS". It has Radar and Patrol Vehicle No. with a line through them but Lidar Unit remains. below it, it says "T3000112" I think. Does this mean a Lidar Unit was used? and what does the "MVARS" mean? Please provide detailed answers.

I got a parking ticket for being parked in a street sweeping zone at 8:03 when there's no parking between 8AM-noon. as unfair as 3 minutes is, I know the court won't care. at the bottom of my ticket, there's an area where the citing officer is supposed to sign and date where it says "under penalty of perjury..." basically stating that the info they wrote is true. they didn't sign or date it. because of this, am I able to get out of paying it?

I got a speeding ticket in California and the sections for "Veh. Lmt.", "Safe" and "Special" were left blank. What are these sections used for? What do they mean?

My Windows 7 computer keeps giving me the random blue screen of death error. There's no errors anywhere in the event log except where it says the previous shut down was unexpected. Norton is updated and scanned, and so is my Spy Sweeper. I also bought a registry cleaner to clear errors and right after the blue screen, it still doesn't find any registry errors. What happens just before I get the blue screen? Everything freezes and I can't click anywhere. Can't even open the task manager. I've been getting this error for almost a year now and I'm at whits end! Somebody, please help! Hardware details below:
