I have been hesitate to purchase The Rane Serato Scracth Live, because of some of the reviews i've read about Serato doesn't work well with Vista. I know the Serato Software is great, I've used it myself with other Djs Laptops that are operating with either Mac or XP.

Have any Djs used the Serato on a computer running "Vista"? If so how was the performance.

I'm in Hetrosexual relationship, I've been marriad to my wife for 15 years now. She's a few years older than Me but she looks like she's younger. However it has gotten to the point that I don't even get turned on by her anymore. To engage in sex I will have look at Porn.

Our sex is basic and the same, she never wants to try anything new or any new positions.

Looking for a song that came out in the late 70's or early 80's. I need the name of the band who sings it. The few lyrics " I just want to be what cha want me to be" I thought it was Cameo, but I'm not sure.

I have a 16 year old son, from a white lady. We divorced when my son was just an infant back in 92. Over the years I have kept in contact with my son, both in communication, finacially, and going to see him and sending for him to visit for the summer.

My son's mother is an attorney in Oklahoma City, and lives in a prodominatley white neighborhood. He lives a very protected life. Now he wants to live with me.

My new wife and I make a very good living, however outside of our community and where he will be attending school is rough.

My main concerns is his safety....I want more than anything in the world for my son to live with me, even thou he could pass a white kid easily. I just don't want my son to get hurt. So I prefer him to stay with his mom. Am I wrong for that and being selfish? Or should I let him experience life?

I'm not really looking for answer, i'm really wanting to vent. Today I had a meeting with a client, to dj an event. From first hearing about the event it sounded very easy, something I do quite often. The event was a 70's theme gig. No big deal righ? Play some Curtis Mayfield, Maybe some Ohio Players? NOOOOOO.....This young chick not knowing nothing about the 70's music, had no idea what should get played or what it sounded like. I played samples after samples for her on my laptop, just to recieve a blank stare. Her main concern was not to play profanity or rap, or anything with sexual content. I tried to reassure her that most of 70's music I would play would not have any of that, and besides where I order my music it's all edited anyway, and not only that I listen to my music before I even take to a gig.

After all that, the trick said she was still nervous about hiring me. She wanted a gurantee. If she wasn't satified she gets her money back. I told her you must think i'm a fool.

I have to Dj an event for a Middle School in Lakewood Ca. A mixed school, but from visiting and setting up the event I seen more white kids, mainly little girls. I'm normally not the one who does school events, but all my other DJs are booked at other events, So I got stuck with this one...I need help.....I don't really know what young white kids listen to...I'm mainly play adult events....R&B, Hip/Hop Salsa etc.....

A few years ago, I watched this young welterweight fight in Las Veags. The kid was quick and strong, good dispilines, relaxed and never panic when he was in trouble. Which those situation came rarely. I seen him fight a couple of times more, not really fighting anybody of any caliber, but impressive non the less. Then suddenly he was gone. After The Prince lost to Barrea, I wonder if he had remain in the sport, would he had changed his style. would had become more of orthodox fighter versus his flamboyant style.

I've been working for a Casino for many years now. The department I work in is very enclosed to the point where you have to call security just to use the restroom..

In the past year a new manager was placed over our department. Suddenly alot of young attractive females started getting. From the outside being a male in an enclosed room that would be cool, but as soon as the girls get hired many quit. Having been the longest and not very intrested in a management position, being of the young girls started voicing their concerns to me. Many saying the same thing. The manager approached me and all but asked me to sleep with him.

Now to make matters even worse, a female was placed as lead. Truly unqualified for the position, but rumors got around and spread that she slept with the manager. Taking rumors with a grain of salt, I had to take this one serious, when she was over heard by many confirming the time and place the encounter took place. My question, should I report the comment.
