My dog Cassie is 15 years old this April and she's in quite a bad state. Her fur on her belly and chest has came out due to her scratching it (She had an infection we took her to the vets soo many times but it didn't clear) She's a westie which are prone to skin problems and we bathe her in a shampoo which makes her stop scratching. She's gone deaf and pee's alot in the house. But what she now has is a lump and it's about the size of two golf balls. We want to take her to the vet but we know that she is too old for any surgeries and it just costs way too much, we simply can't afford to take her. We're also scared at the fact that they may have to put her down, but i've had her all my life, i'm 15 too and I don't think I could stand her being put down, she's my best friend...She's perfectly happy, when we take her for walks she rolls around in the grass and potters around the house...shes healthy in that respect but I just don't know what to do? What do you think me (And my parents) should do? Advice please..:(

Does anyone know anything about a UK student studying in Norway, I am searching my options, balancing out the pros and cons of most places and I came across the fact Norwegian universities are free to international students, and I was wondering if anyone has any information about entry requirements and general information/universities. I want to study medicine, so perhaps I could have a website to go to? I understand living costs are higher there, but i'm sure it's alot cheaper than £9,000 a year tuition fees in the UK:P Thanks..

So i'm from the UK, and my maths teacher is from the USA, Indiana, I think. And she was telling us about this time in her last school someone thought she was Canadian and she got so offended, and then numerous times she has expressed her hate for Canadians. It's not just my maths teacher, but even the media, Tv always portrays canada and america as 'rival' countries. What is it about Canada that Americans hate so much, this maybe extremely ignorant and stupid, but I have no clue:)

A sign came up saying 10% charge, so I went and got the charger, I plugged it in and then the laptop shut off, I left it a day with the charger in. When I went back, I tried to turn it back on but now it's totally dead, no light, no fan nothing what so ever, I was thinking maybe its over heated, or maybe the charger has broken, but I;m not good with computers so I haven't got a clue.

So at this moment, my hair is like a brown-y red colour, not good at all. And i want to dye it blonde, My sister told me i need to have a colour remover stripper thing, and a dye. But is it possible to dye my hair straight after using the colour stripper. I don't mean an hour later, maybe a day, Its just i don't want to go to school with stripped hair, because i know it can go a rusty, colour. So is it really bad to dye right after the stripper?

I don't know why, I have 4 main friends, and quite a few other friends too. But for some reason I always feel as if people dislike me. I'm not a very confident speaker, I'm not shy, but i can never think of anything to say, especially to teenagers my age. I find it difficult to mix with people and although it might be all in my head, i still feel so alone, as if i have nobody to worry or care about me. I've tried to read online of how to be more confident in speaking, but i can't find anything that is helping me. I don't go out much, there isn't anything to do where i live. I feel as if i have to drink or smoke to socialise where i am, and i dont. I just feel horrible, i dont know if its depression, or anxiety but its really bringing me down, i think about it all the time, everyday. I will not go to a counsellor, no way. Please can somebody give me advice?

I am 14 years old in the north east of england, and i would like to do something good for someone. I don't care whether it is volunteering in an elderly care home, or helping out homeless people, or raising money for a charity, I just want to help someone. However there is little opportunity in the north east, especially for kids my age, can someone please give me ideas or direct me to a website? Thank you in advance

The republic of ireland, and northern ireland are 2 seperate countries, i never really understood fully why, as northern ireland is just a tiny country, i understand that britain comes into this some how, but im wondering, why is northern ireland not part of the republic of ireland, and is there any difference between the cultures of the two?

i am a 13 year old girl, from the north east of england, i don't go to a posh private school, my parents aren't rich and we don't live in a posh area, but my grades are good and im good at naming alot of bones and stuff in the body, i know basic first aid and i am a member of the st.johns ambulance im a cadet, im good at science and i am planning on going to durham university if my results of my gcse's and a level's are good...so do i have a fair chance of becoming a doctor?
