  • How come the Thrashers can't keep talented players on their roster?

Hossa is awesome and I'm glad to see him go to respectable team.

Unfortunately, I'm a Thrashers fan, so I've seen how our owners care for the team...they don't.

The Thrashers have/had a great roster, but they are losing top flight players (Savard, Belanger, Hossa, Coburn, etc.) because they simply don't give a **** about hockey...only money.

Atlanta Spirit owns the Thrashers, Hawks, Force, and a soon-to-be WNBA team...they are looking to expand into every sport, but could care less about building a championship winning team.

Several Thrashers are free agents this summer...lets see how many stay in Atlanta...Kari Lehtonen has talked about leaving and so has Kozlov.

Atlanta has a strong fan-base, but they can't expect to keep their fan-base by constantly turning over players and showing no dedication to winning.

Blame Don Waddell and Atlanta Spirit!

  • Thrashers Fans: Should someone else buy the Thrashers?

It has been brought to my attention that the Atlanta Spirit is trying to purchase a WNBA for Atlanta.

Given that the Atlanta Hawks, and Georgia Force doesn't pay the bills for Atlanta Spirit, they have now found themselves in the RED!!!

Atlanta Spirit is losing money due to the other shitty teams they own...AND they are looking to expand with this new WNBA team.

No doubt, this will affect the Thrashers organization.

Several players have left the team due to poor ownership. (Savard, Bondra, Coach Hartley, etc.) I believe that Don Waddell is trying his *** off to salvage a sinking ship.

**Also, I know Hartley was fired; however, he was not a fan of the owners.

How do you guys feel about the Atlanta Spirit and what should be done to help save the Thrashers?

  • How many conservative republicans will not vote for the GOP if McCain gets the nomination?

The GOP believes it stands a better chance at retaining the White House, with McCain at the helm. Despite his deviance to the party...despite the horrible bi-partisan bills he has created...despite his desire to leave the party in 2001, the Republican party wants McCain as their man.

This election year, should McCain get the nod, I will be happy to send the GOP a clear message by voting for whomever the Independent candidate will be...essentially throwing my vote away. McCain does not stand for the values and principles of the Republican party.

McCain wasn't good enough in 2000, 2004, and he's sure as hell no good enough in 2008 either.

Let me know what you think...
