My daughter has decided not to invite some members of my and her dad's family. It is highly embarrassing and also very hurtful to the persons not invited. She wanted a really posh expensive venue which has cost a lot of money and we have given far more than we have expected to do for this wedding although it wasn't the full amount. She has invited one of my sisters and not the other because she does not like her. She has invited some of my husband's family and left one out because she says she doesn't know her very well. It is causing problems and embarrassment for us. I even offered to pay the extra costs for these 4 people to go, but she is adamant. I know it is her day. She has got everything she wants, the venue, the dress, bridemaids etc. I went shopping on Saturday with her and my other daughter for so-called girly shopping it turned out to be shopping for my wedding outfit. (I had already have found a dress I wanted to wear). I spent the whole of Saturday with them and I ended up trying on lots of outfits. The one they wowed about I felt like I was in the film Grease and certainly not the Mother of the Bride. I ended up crying and they said I didn't have to have it if I felt uncomfortable. I now feel my daughters' don't feel I am not capable of getting my own outfit and will embarrass her. I thought the day was all of us looking for accessories, but apparently not. I spent the rest of the day feeling guilty because I selfishly didn't want to look like an idiot. Today I was asked to chase up my family's invites. My husband (her father) was asked the same. It is so embarrassing. I rang around and family members are feeling very uncomfortable because certain members are not invited. I know it is the brides day, but surely she should give a little. I am not asking her to change anything, just include some family members who have noticeablely been left out.. Is it Me? Am I being a Selfish Cow? I don't feel I want to be at a reception where I am smiling and being host to people I do not know, when some of my own family has been omitted. I tried to talking to her and explaining to her that this will cause so much upset in the family, but she is adamant that she will have who she wants at her wedding. I obviously want to see my daughter married and stay for the photos. I don't feel I want to be at this wedding reception, it is too snobby for me.

Does anyone know of a good store in Port Moody, Vancouver that sells baby highchairs and cot/cotbeds at reasonable prices. Would like an online site or shop with telephone number that has a delivery service. Need to buy my baby grand daughter a present and I live in Uk, so need to buy & pay for item in Canada

All the bread in the US tastes very sweet, Walmart's cheap sliced bread tastes the least sweet. Does anyone know where to buy bread in Orlando that tastes like bread in UK or Europe, Crusty bread preferred. Going on the 18th November and don't know whether I will be able to take bread from home this time because of the extra security measures

I am going to Orlando in Florida on 18 - 25th Nov. and have a 1 day hopper pass. Would like to see the Light parade and fireworks at the Magic Kingdom and also the fireworks at Epcot (if they don't coinside). The reason I say days as I would like to try and go on the quieter days (if there are any). I have already been to the Disney Parks before so just want to visit the places I like and am not worried about going on all the rides. It would be great if they knew the times the parks open and closed as well. thanks Pat

I am going to Vistana Resort, Orlando on the 18th November but my accommodation is for the 19th November, so I will have to book a night in the hotel, just wondered if anyone out there had the same problem except that they would be arriving on the Sunday 19th November, hopefully we could do a swap of week. I have booked a 2 bedroom appartment.
