I just started wearing tampons, and I've had my period for about 3 years, and I don't know if this is true, but when I told my friends that I use cardboard applicator tampons they said that cardboard tampons hurt more than plastic tampons?

Is that true? Should I use "teen" tampons that are plastic? Are they more comfortable than cardboard tampons?

In the past few months, ever since I became a vegan (I don't know if it has anything to do with that), I have had the worst unbearable period pain.

My symptoms include nausea, lower back pain, neck pain, stomach cramps, increase in appetite, sever bloating and mood swings. My cramps and back pain are so bad that it feels like having the stomach flu. I usually have to miss a couple of days a month of school due to my lady problems and it's become a really big inconvenience. Usually my period is accompanied by strong migraines, which are no fun either.

I really don't know anyone else who has such a miserable time of the month and I was wondering what I could do to make my period less painful?

Additional information: I can't go on birth control due to religious reasons, and I'm only 15 so there is no chance that I could be pregnant or starting menopause.

ok so i dont know if you're familiar with green tea pills. i guess that they are a sort of diet pill because they help your body lose weight the natural way by surpressing your appetite.

they were selling them at winners for eight dollars which is a great price and my mom agreed to buy them for me because i want to lose weight.

we were about to pay for them but she read all the writing on the side of the package and said that since i'm only fifteen she doesn't want me to take them and she thinks they're dangerous.

i really want them, so i'm going to go back and buy them myself. but do you need to show proof of age to purchase green tea pills? (i live in ontartio, canada.)

in the movie the joker tells two versions of how he got his scars.

the first version is told to gimbol. he says that his father was a drunk and ended up cutting his face into a permanant smile. (i think everyone has heard of that story "why so serious")

the second version is told to rachel. he says that his wife got cut up by gamblers and she thought she was hideous so to make her feel better he cut himself up as well.

the joker never really tells us which version is true and it never says in the movie.

does anyone who has read the batman comics know how the joker got his scars? (and a little backround information on the joker?)

I usually don't have any health problems, but lately my lower back pain has been really unbearable.

My parents blame it on the fact that I'm always cracking my back, knuckles and neck.

I take a tylenol every morning to try to stop it, but my back pain still bothers me. I never feel comfortable sitting anywhere.

I'm not even old though; I'm only fifteen!!

How can I resolve my back issues? And are they relating to cracking my neck, back and knuckles?

My mom is Polish and my dad's from Zimbabwe, so she's white and he's black.

Since I live in Canada, no one really cares. Well, obviously they care but they don't make a big fuss about it or tease me or anything.

My mom's parents were apparently really against the idea of her marrying a black guy, and they didn't even show up at the wedding!!

My mom mentioned how sometimes in Poland, black people get beat up and so forth.

I went to a Polish saturday school once, and since I have somewhat dark skin, all the teachers and parents sort of avoided me and treated me really strangely.

Are Polish people generally racist?

theres this family, and lets just call them the browns.

the browns have 5 daughters that are friends with my little sisters. I dont know how to put this nicely, but the browns are really, erm, immigrant-y. they do really embarrassing things in public like put sugar packets in their pockets and pee in bushes.

im not being mean to immigrants, (my parents are immigrants), but seriously the browns have been in the country for 12 years!!

when my sister invites just one of the browns, their whole family comes and stays at our house for a few hours, going through our stuff. if they come during dinner, they let themselves in and help themselves to dinner and desert.

the brown children are also very rude. as soon as they get to our house, they ask continously for food and go to our fridge/freezers to get some. whenever we invite them to go somewhere (movies, ice skating etc), they dont bring any money and expect us to pay for them, and then they never pay us back. when we go somewhere with them and forget money, they pay for us and then hound us for money and always say that we "owe them".

its so annoying! i cant stand the browns! how do i get them to leave my family alone without being too rude??

i don't know if she is just eccentric or if it's a genuine mental problem.

it was sort of weird how she always thought there was someone telling her to eat and a little voice in her head.....

my dad is so weird when i invite guys over he walks in and hes asks their grade averages and if they have jobs and if theyve ever been in trouble with the law and then before he leaves he says he owns a gun and can and will shoot them if there's any "hanky panky"!! its so embarassing im the only fifteen yearold without a boyfriend.

and when we go to my moms house she hits on my guy friends its so messed up! my best guy friend chris came over and my mom started feeling his muscles and she was like "wow your so buff, chris" it was disgusting!!

are your parents that weird?

i went on a really restrictive diet for almost a week where you have to excercise for an hour a day, and eat only 300 calories a day, and i lost 5 pounds in a week.

is that unhealthy? because i honestly feel fine, like not light headed or anything and my mom knows and told me to "keep up the good work"?

just now i cut my hip with scissors four times. this was my first time with self harm and i just felt so bad that i couldn't stop. i feel like i want to do it again already. this probably sounds so stupid but it makes me feel powerful and like i can do something special that no one knows about.

okay that did sound stupid, but seriously, is cutting addictive?
