  • Carpet of Tile?

Recently we had a small flood in our basement. The carpet was removed and now I'm wondering if we should take the opportunity and replace with tile. Which will be considered better for our home value?

    Thanks!

  • What is the normal time frame to file suit and receive a court date for hearing?

    Hi,

Currently, we are going back and forth with an adjuster representing an insurance company for damages. Our lawyer has informed me that it may take 1.5 years to get a trial date if we file suit and do not settle or find a settlement agreement. I find this somewhat odd and am unsure as to if he is telling us the truth, trying to avoid filing suit, or lying in order for us to just settle. Can I contact the court or someone in general to see if and when my lawyer fuiled suit and if I can get an expedited court date? This accident happened almost two years ago. Im exhausted and want this to end, but I do not want my family to be taken advantage of either.

    Thanks for any real help.

  • Does anyone else feel smarter after reading and replying to some of these questions?

Just thought I'd ask, seems like people ask about anything now-a-days.
