  • Question for actual iPhone 3g users - how long do you go before your battery runs out?

I am looking to get an iPhone 3g and I have read all the reports about the "tested" battery life and what Apple says it should be, but this doesn't tell me the real question. Do people even get through an entire day before having to charge? What is your typical usage and how long does it typically last for you? I am looking for answers from iPhone 3g owners and users only please.

  • Contest - Need a cool or funny line for a band t-shirt - you get picked, we send you the shirt free!?

    Hi,

We are a rock/metal cover band called Accusing Society out of CT. (myspace.com/accusingsociety for anyone interested). We are looking to put together a t-shirt with a catchy or funny phrase on it that reflects the name and that people can (and would want to) wear in public. A "weak" example might be something like "It's society's fault that you can't kill stupid people". Bad, I know, which is why we need your help. We plan on selling these t-shirts at our shows. The person with the best one will get one of the t-shirts free as an additional bonus.

Do we have any creative people out there?

    Thanks!

  • Purchasing a bicycle, need advice?

I am looking to buy a bicycle and was wondering if this is a good buy, and if it is worth the possible trouble. The bike is a Nikishi 12 speed "sport" model. It is about 20 years old but in very good condition (looks more like 5 years old). Problem is, it came from overseas and has metric parts. Also he is looking for $75. It has no extras except for a bike rack and a bottle holder. It does not look like it needs any work.

First question. Is this a good value for the bike? I have no idea if this model or brand is any good.

Second question. Will I have a hard time finding replacement parts for a metric bike? Also will I have a hard time finding "add-ons" for it?

I plan on using it to ride with my kids (4 and 6) and commuting to work (2.5 miles).

    Thanks!
