Okay. Over the past 12 years, I've caught husband lying multiple times. Little things and big things are lied about. He DID tell me that I was the beneficiary of all his accounts. Well, today, I decided to look for myself. He doesn't know I know about this particular account Well, I discovered that a beneficiary has not been named.  When you log into the account, "Name you beneficiary" pops right up so there's no way he missed it.  I can't really say too much or I'll give myself away.  If I had asked, he would have lied.  I've been wanting to leave for 7-8 years. What do you guys think about this? How bad is it...or am I upset over nothing?  Thanks a lot!

I've been married for 12 years. We have very little in common and husband is always moody and grumpy and rude to me. I'm not a needy person so I've adapted to his coldness. We actually don't even share a bedroom, and haven't been intimate in over a year.  Recently, I got an email from an ex who lives in England. He was always a sweet person and he's still very sweet. He wants me to come see him but how can I? I have a child and a mortgage. We talk everyday. I miss him very much. I could leave my husband but I'm afraid I'd hurt him.  By the way, husband knows I talk to ex. He knows we were good friends and doesn't seem too bothered. I am so sad.  

Took all of my jewelry over a year ago to a Quick Cash Pawn. When I recently went in to retrieve jewelry, 3 items were missing (my favorites pieces as well as the best...hmmmm). I have religiously paid my interest every month, ON TIME, for an entire year. Having items stolen is just UNACCEPTABLE. Pawn shop wants to give me the "stated value" which everyone knows is CONSIDERABLY less than the REAL value. Besides, these were one-offs. This jewelry was antique and had a value much greater than the weight of the metal.

On the back of the ticket, it states that "in the case items are either lost or damaged" (Stolen), the pawn shop will try and replace the items with something similar or pay the stated value. DO I have to accept this? The cost to replace would be $300.00. The stated value is $30. Would a judge rule in my favor? Thanks a lot!!!!

We had a fight and he left. He went to this bar where his friend bar tends, and my husband is sitting there getting drunk (he's an alcoholic) and spending the last of our few dollars at the bar. I'm stuck at the house with no money. I can't drive my car b/c I have no gas money. I am a full time student, so I wait for student loans to exist on. Husband works but keeps all the extra money. ANYWAY...I call him and he Finally answers, and tells me he staying out tonight, meaning he is staying at his friend's house. He is 32, not 21. We have a 4 year old son who is staying w/ my mom tonight. AM I crazy, or is this TOTALLY unacceptable? I'm thinking about putting my stuff in storage in the next week or so, and moving out when I get my student loan.

Husband has hep C. He is 32. He found he had it about six years ago. I didn't know much about Hep C when I met him..but have since learned that drinking is a NO NO. Husband won't quit drinking. He drinks a few nights a week. When you have Hep C, you shouldn't even drink one beer, much less 6-8. He doesn't even act like he knows it's serious. He does know, though. Should I threaten to leave, or leave? How can I stay with someone who is killing themselves and doesn't even care? We have a three year old son, too.

We have been fighting for a while now...and things have gotten really bad in the last month. He told me today that he didn't care what I did. Is that the truth? or is he testing me? What in the he!! ? Thanks so much for answers in advance..

I don't believe Alyce LaViolette perjured herself in the Jodi Aria trial because isn't an affidavit considered testimony? Are not the two on par w/ each other?

He has No record at all. He doesn't even have a speeding ticket, and he is 31. We were leaving a bar and a cop pulled him. He blew .14. Can he get the charge dropped or reduced. His job depends on clean driving record. This is in North Carolina. THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!

A "guy"/man I am in History class with has moved to sit beside me the last month or so. He has given me his number and asked to study together outside of class, but nothing specific. I am 9 years older. but I look his age, or so everybody tells me. Being older, I would feel a little silly doing anything more than just flirting. He has my number and has messaged me a few times, but did not ask me out for this weekend. He is single, ...I believe he is being truthful...so I don't think that is the problem. How should I handle it, being older. BTW, I have been fantasizing about this person since we first talked. He is amazing!!!!!

P.S. He did mention in class today that the end of the semester should not end the "friendship". He mentioned still seeing each other outside of class. So why the lag??? Thanks a million!

I noticed him right off the bat. He was gorgeous. Talk dark and handsome. Very funny too. Okay..so I noticed after a month of class that he had noticed me too. He would talk to me from across the room and then he moved next to me. What's funny is that we are mid twenties to early thirties and this is a college class..not high school. lol Okay...so he asked for my number so we could get together and study...and has texted me when i missed class due to sickness. Today....he kept an intense eye contact...and mentioned that the semester would be ending soon, but that we could still see each other outside of class. I was hoping he would ask me out for this weekend or that I would get a message after class...but nothing. Thought that was strange. What's my best strategy? I have NEVER wanted a man like I want him. I THINK it's mutual but, like I said, he did NOT ask me out for this weekend..which I was hoping for and kind of expecting? thoughts. Thank you !!!

Landlord took me to court for back rent. I was unable to go and Judge gave landlords the entire amount. I expected as much. Now...I am wondering about my deposit. Since the judgement had already been entered against me...in the amount of 2,400.00, if they keep the deposit...who will ever know that amount was applied to the judgement. As far as the court will know...I will STILL owe the 2400.00...even though they are keeping 650.00 towards the rent. What do I do. Oh....I live in N.C. Thanks

I want to pick my check up from school, and save the 2-3-days it will take for it to come in the mail.

I have a 2003 VW Passatt wagon w/ 70,000 miles. Had a somewhat loud tick/knock in engine. Repair shop says it's the chain tensioner. $1200.00 later, I pick the car up from the shop, and literally haven't driven 2 miles when the word "STOP" lights up the dash with the oil light flashing as well. Stop and check oil, and no problem there. Obviously the shop that fixed my car did something...but WHAT? What might they have done. I'll be taking it back to them in the morning..but I was wondering if anybody had any ideas. Thanks a lot!!!!!!

He drinks a 6 pack probably 4-5 nights out of every week. He is nice and can keep a job, but he has Hep. C. and should not be drinking at ALL, and certainly not 6 beers in one night. Just wondering if 6 beers a night, every other night equals alcoholism? Thanks a lot

Just paid 8k cash for a used 2003 VW wagon. Car has 70,000 miles. Looks great! A week after I bought it, I noticed an engine knock. Basically, I need an adjustor, which will cost a grand with labor. Fearful that this VW is going to be a continuous problem, I decided to take it to Carmax and see what they would give me. They come back with an appraisal for 1200.00. They say there is frame damage, and show me the welding job under the hood. When we bought the car, the dealer ( a little used car lot) didn't give us copies of what we signed. Didn't notice until 2 weeks later when I looked in the envelope. Anyway...WHAT CAN I DO? This dealer not only sells cars, but also has a 3 car garage for working on vehicles. They had to know of frame damage but I can't prove they knew. I live in N.C. What recourse have I got????? I am mad!

My step-father teaches at a school whose name I won't mention, except that it's a private university in S.C. There is one student in particular who never does his work! He is flunking all his classes. Dean asked my step-father to change a B to an A, and remove the other F's. Dean wants this student to pass. My step-father said he had to think about it. So....change the student's grade or possibly lose his job. It will all boil down to his word against the dean's. I was outraged by this. I am in school myself and work very hard to make good grades!!!! The notion that a totally undeserving student gets to pass (and in a master's program, no less) is HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I am just blown away here. What should step-father do?

My EX husband has been ordered to pay x amount of child support monthly. He has also been ordered to include our son on his insurance policy. He found out to day that they will start taking x amount of dollars out of his pay for the insurance. He is MAD! He's saying he will get his attorney to get this back in court. QUESTION: Will the courts deduct the cost of insurance from the child support??? Because if they do, I will only have $25.00 a week to live on. That's impossible!!!!! OR ..will they make him pay both. I have heard of fathers getting credit for insurance and the child support being reduced. Thanks a million

P.S. Ex has had a YEAR and a half to find his own cheaper insurance. Refused, so now his employer has been told to deduct his pay.

My grandfather died 10 years ago. Left a very large estate. He had three children. One of whom is my mother. Of the other two siblings, one has a mental disability and lives in a group home. QUESTION.......If my mother dies, and the the sibling in the group home dies, will his inheritance pay out to the remaining sibling ONLY...or will I inherit my mother's portion, were she still alive? Thanks.

Husband left me a year and a half ago. I have begged him to stay with me and work it out. He says he's worried because I am bad with money and too moody. He says he'll date me AFTER he divorces me. DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? Is he just lying? Why would he divorce me if he's still willing to date me?
