I have had a problem with my account for weeks now, send many of their form help things and NOTHING back. They have a nagging screen saying for me to change my password for activity that they decided was unusual ... which it is NOT, plus IT IS ALL MINE. SO no problem remove the nagging crap already. HOW DO I GET IT DONE? I have called and that is a joke. What gives. IS yahoo all computers and no people or what.

There was nothing in the remote assistance that had anything to do with my backup drive. It is not a Dell product. My dell pc is new and has had problems since purchase...June 2013. They were again trying to fix the problem of shut downs and keyboard and mouse freezing problems. The tech did some things without explanation. Then he went to my backup drive and started doing stuff there, I commented on it telling him that it contained important not replaceable data including pictures of my mother who is deceased. He even went so far as to say 'I wish you to ignore it' and continued doing it even over my objections. And he did indeed erase all of my files on my backup drive. Later He did three recovery programs trying to get some of the data back but didn't retrieve it all. Even partitioned the backup drive that wasn't partitioned before and then when I asked him to fix it back the way it was, he didn't do it correctly. Now dell is saying sorry but that is all. They even act like I am at fault for the continued problems because I wouldn't let this idiot continue when he wanted to take my entire system back to factory condition. Anyone know what to do to get compensation for the data loss. They are just making excuses and are not willing to make it right. Should I see a lawyer?

I don't much like the moving ads everytime I sign in either, but why should yahoo get into politics at all, and it is always just obama not the other side, guess we know who they are for, but should we know is the real question.

If people with stomachs like that were running around showing them, people would be upset, but the ads are everywhere, and do they think that they work? It would seem the people they want to reach would be upset and depressed at seeing that ad and not use the product.. any comments? I just think it is disgusting ads.

My 17 yr old daughter who will be 18 soon,Promised me that she would stay and help me (disabled) until she was 19 or 20 or until I got my AA degree whichever came first. I would be finished at the end of spring semester in 2009. SO she repeated the promise for a long time most of 2007, up until April 2008. Then she was accepted to a university - freshman are required to live on campus - she requested to live at home because I am disabled. And even got the papers to register for the school and was still promising me. Two days later she changed her mind. Said she would stay until Aug. when she would move into the dorm. So I rearranged my life to fit her new promise. Which lasted a few days to just until her birthday May 29th. and that lasted a few days to she ran off to go to live with her sister and her sisters bf who live in a small 1 bdrm apt and do drugs. Now I am not sure I can ever trust anything that comes out of her mouth. Would you?

my daughter is going to be 18 in 27 days and has ran off to go live with her drugged out sister who is only after her money ( a settlement from a prior car accident) and the youngest was a really good kid just months ago and now hates me. I mean really hates me and is actually going to cause me to be homeless. I am on disability ( really bad health) and she helps the family with her part time job. She said she doesnt care, even doesnt care about her 10 year old cat she has had for 8 yrs, or the dog, both she says she loves dearly. Now the dog is whining and looking for her, very sad, and the cat cries all night because he usually sleeps with her. What does it take to get a teenager to see right from wrong?

Look at all the facts about the man, and still people are throwing themselves at the man. Why? Look at his middle name, look at his books, there is not way this man should be running for president of america, not with current events going on in america and around the world.

that it means they are doing nothing to solve their problems? Just because my family and I live in a broken car doesnt mean we are not working at solving the problem. But everyone acted like we were just waiting for someone to help us... like that ever happens. that is the point i was making earlier, no one really cares. That is why we have proverty in the first place. Everyone for themselves is the human condition no one can solve. So I use a public library for the pc use, and I am disabled but I am still doing what I can to keep my family together and going to adult school to get certifications for future work. I havent given up, but everyone you meet when they know the homeless word chat down to you like your less than a dog. That is the question.. .why?

There is no way to end homelessness because the homeless are treated like garbage, less than people, less than dogs. Even without drug or alcohol problems we are still treated like we are less than others with homes. And we are Christians, even the churches just want us to get out of their faces. It is all just an act that anyone cares about the poor.
