I dont love my wife anymore?
I have been married to my wife for a little over 10 years now and we have 2 young children, we have been happy in the past but things are very strained now. My wife was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis shortly after we met and has a gradual deterioration in her illness to the point that is is now totally wheelchair bound.
I had to give up my career about 5 years ago and just went into part time office work but that has now stopped too due to me becoming her carer and I think this is part of where we are now. She still works full time and I am also a full time dad but feel that I am a carer to 3 children due to some of my wifes actions and crying every time I say something she is not happy about not just the 2 children.
My wife is not interested in making friends and so has ZERO conversation, absolutely nothing to talk about other than the children and I am bored.
Sex is limited, this is partly due to her illness and partly due to simply not wanting it.
I feel really trapped in this relationship as I have no income now and have two young children so dont want to split up the family, I am tired and totally stressed. what should I do?

7 AnswersMarriage & Divorce8 years agoCar Rumbling Volvo V70?
Hi,
My 2001 V70 has started today on the motorway rumbling like I am going over a rumble strip, it did not do it at all on my way out (I was only on 30 - 40 mph a roads) but coming home I got the car over 70 mph and then it started to shake, it was quite scary and when I slowed down in continued, I pulled off the motorway into the services and stopped for 2 mins with the engine running, I set off again but was careful not to go above 50mph and all was fine for about 3 miles and then again it started shaking and got worse. I pulled off the motorway again at my turn off and pulled over, again I stopped for 2 mins and set off. I was then on back roads and it was totally smooth until I got on my street when it started again, which took about 10 mins. I had some newish wheels fitted yesterday all with tyres and just wonder if one of the tyres could be buldged or have a flat spot and the problem arises when the tyres warm up?. I also had the ABS light come on today for the first time and wonder if the shaking could have caused it, along with a message saying ABS service required, by the time I got home the light was out and the message had gone. Lots of info but hopefully someone can help. The car changes gear as normal and tick over on the 2.5 diesel is normal.

1 AnswerEmbassies & Consulates9 years agoShortfall on my existing Mortgage?
Hello,
We are currently selling our current house as my wife has an illness and the house is no longer suitable for us, there will be a shortfall of about £10000 which the mortgage provider have agreed to us making up in the coming years to pay off the debt. We have had an idea though which I feel might make the situation for us and the Mortgage company happy. We have moved into a house that is suitable for my wife, it is adapted for her needs and is owned by her mum, she rents the house out to supplement her retirement and once the sale happens we will take over renting from her, now we have spoken and she said she would sell us the house for £50000 with a market value of £130000, do you think the mortgage company would allow us a mortgage of £50000 plus the shortfall, meaning they would have interest in a house at £60000 with huge equity to mortgage of £70000 and more security for them and us. Sorry for being so long winded but wanted you to have all the info to work with. Regards
3 AnswersRenting & Real Estate9 years agoUnacceptable car repair?
We have a lease car through the a popular government backed disability Plan, the car was damaged by a neighbour which the insurance company were not worried about and then the window cleaner scraped his ladder down the side of the car, there was an insurance claim put in and the disability plan had the car sent to their repair centre, this place is owned by them, I was placed in a suitable car whilst this happened, I got the car back after a week and you could clearly see the primer under the paint where the car had been repaired, they accepted this and had it back in for another week, I got the car back again and now it looks like the whole of one side of the car has been painted BADLY, there is too much laquer and it is slighly dull, not at all like before the damage, the gagage sent out a top man from the paint company who agreed it was not repaired correctly again!, the car is back in, as an apology they have given my a very expensive mercedes car whilst they repair again but where do I stand with rejecting the car and having it replaced if the repair is not correct this time. As I have said this is not my own car but the lease is for another 2 1/2 years and I cannot live with a substandard car for that time.
5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoI want my house to be repossessed!?
Hello,
My title may sound like an odd one but it is true, we have a house that we purchased in 2003 for £90000, the house was going to be a forever home, we extended our mortgage to £120000 in 2005 to renovate and re build a wall, it is a huge 200 year old cottage, we lived in the house fine until 2007, my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and at the time of purchase was well and able to cope with the house, in 2007 we had the house adapted to make it suitable for her changing condition and disability. In 2011 my wife's parents offered to buy another house and have it totally adapted for my wife as the cottage was getting very difficult to get around, we decided on this idea and to rent the cottage out, our mortgage is £550 per month repayment and the rent would be similar, this would also mean that I could give up my full time job and become her carer and work 15 hours a week with the mortgage covered by rent. Now getting to the point, we cannot rent our house as the mortgage company want to put up the repayments to £750 per month if we rent it out, this would mean a shortfall of £250 min per month, we have looked at all other options and have now put the house on the market at £119995 in a flat market, have reduced our mortgage payments to £150 per month for as long as we can as we no longer have my full time wage coming into the house and are in a very difficult position. I would like the house to be repossessed as we have a house that is suitable for my wife to live in rent free until we sell the house and have no need to own a house anymore especially with my wife's condition worsening each year. Is it possible to have the house repossessed or simply hand back to the mortgage company, we have never missed any payments and I entered into a payment plan before any payments were missed to preempt any problems, we have been paying the reduced rate for 2 months now. My wife is also in a IVA due to the Life situations changing.
Thank you in advance
1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate10 years agoVolvo 850 2.3 T5 ABS Light?
Hello,
Please help, my 850 T5s abs light has come on today and was a bit worrying as when I was braking it felt like it was grinding and not working at full force, I bought the car recently with a full history and the previous owner had had the unit repaired in the past, is the car safe to drive as we live up a steep hill and where would I start to get the issue fixed. We have had some seriously bad weather today including, very heavy rain all day, major thunder and lightening and huge hail stones, could any mixture of this sent the system wrong or made it damp and not work, I remember owning a Renault 19 Williams and that would not run after any rain shower!.
Thank You in advance

4 AnswersInsurance & Registration10 years agoCouncil Tax Un-occupied houses?
Hello,
I am aware in the Uk that you do not have to pay council tax for up to six months if the house is un-occupied, if the house remains un-occupied beyond the 6 months when can you suspend payment again, especially if you are paying council tax on another house in the same council area, the empty house uses no council services what so ever.

1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoCan I claim compensation from a Vendor when purchasing a house as he is delaying completion?
I am in the process of purchasing a house for cash, the vendor agreed to move out when we were ready to complete, we could have completed 4 weeks ago but are still waiting, the vendor has now come up with an excuse that the mortgage he is applying for on his new house may not go through, can I pull out of the purchase and claim compensation as I have transferred the deposit money to the solicitors (£12000!) or do I have to wait for him to pull out? Many Thanks
