I ask this out of frustration! I was reading some VERY disturbing news articles that baby's fathers hurt them, from being newborns! Don't they want to be daddy's why would some hurt a baby?! I have a 8 month old and can't even think that her daddy would do anything to her! I mean biological fathers! OMG What goes thru their heads?!?!?! PLEASE seak help if you think of hurting your baby!

My daughter is 6 months old and she has 6 teeth already. Everyone started warning us that she'll start biting us soon. Did your child bite when they started teething? I don't think all kids go thru that stage.

and people answer with have you tried breast milk! It's free no warming up and always with you. Can we all assume they couldn't breast feed! I couldn't! I had NO milk I tried and tried and pumped and pumped and nothing! My daugher was in the NICU and I was very stressed out/sad. The nurse said that could've dried up my milk! PLEASE people be courteous and just answer what they are asking. BTW I just had to get this out! Sorry!

Has anyone traveled recently. I want to take the baby's car seat but I don't know if I can place it in the over head compartment or do I have to check it in as luggage? The baby will be sitting on my lap so she will not be in the car seat during the flight. First time mom and first time traveling with my daughter! Any other tips, stories you can share about traveling with infant will be greatly appreciated!

My daughter is going to be 4 months old and I am planning on going to Mexico for a week. Has anyone traveled recently? I know I need a passport but I probably won't get it on time. I heard if you have proof that you applied you should be ok to travel. Anyone? HELP! ;o)

My daughter is 3.5 months old. She's still on the stage 1 nipple and seems fine so far. Anyone use Soothie bottles? If so when did you change to stage 2 nipples?

If so, why? Did the Dr suggest it? Etc. My daughter has been on soy almost from birth. I am switching insurance and Pediatrician and this is one of the questions I am going to ask the new pediatrician. She started taking it because she kept throwing up regular formula.

I have a 7 week old baby and was just asked if I took a lamaze class, yes I did. Did it help during labor and delivery, very little. Let me tell you this the time me and my hubby spent together was well worth it. You do end up using some of the techniques but not all, I didn't use the breathing at all (I'm asthmatic). If you don't have to pay for the class go for it! I'm being honest here and hopefully help someone along the way.

My baby will be eight weeks old she drinks 3 ounces every 3 hours. She will sometimes drink 4 ounces. She has even gone 5 hours at night, I get so excited! I was wondering if that's about the same that other babies drink?

My lil one was born May 3rd! When she was born she swalloed fluid and some merconium. She had a very hard time keeping the formula down the first 2 days! She kept throwing it up! Did this happen to anyone's baby? She also had high jaundice so she had to be admitted to the NICU, mostly because of the throwing up! She is out and eats great! Just wanted to know if it happened to anyone else?

Ok here's my dilemma! We found a lovely crib that my hubby and I really like. At my babyshower and from quite a bit of people I've been told to use a bassinet while the baby is a newborn, that way she'll be closer to my bed. Did you use a crib or bassinet? If so what do you recomend?

I just had my babyshower and got a diaper genie. Have you guys had one? Use one? What do you think about them?

I am 35 weeks and it started this week. Right when I lay down to sleep my belly feels heavy and it hurts, I change sides and it still hurts. Yes it almost makes me cry. I freaked out the first time and it went away a short while later. Last night it hurt and I guess sleep got the best of me and I knocked out. Anyone else felt this?
