This is my second child for my husband and I, a little girl, and I need some help with shower ideas...games, food, party favors, etc.

I dont really require a theme, just spring pastel colors

last year when we had one for my son, my sister hosted it, but this year i want to help out and i need new ideas. we bought a new house since then so it will be here so people can check it out..sometime in late march, me have a nice stainless steel grill, deck, park for the kids, etc..or should it be like, "girls night in" them? formal? almost like a bridal shower, but for baby? i am open for all ideas, throw some my way!

on a budegt budget because we just re-furnished the house and are expecting out second child in the spring..he is not into video games. we though about a cruise, but im too far along for that. ITS THIS THURSDAY!!!!

my son has came home twice with ripped jeans. i think he does it on purpose because timeout and just talking to him is a joke. he stretches out his shirts by put his legs through them, etc. i explained to him over and over how fortunate he is to have clothes, new clothes for birthdays, holidays, etc. I talk to him about the importance of taking care of gifts that are given to him because they may not come back. I have tried timeout, but nothing works. Also, when he goes to school, he has on coat, hat, scarf, etc. he has lost 2 hats, gloves and does not come home with anything on except his coat. its about 30 degrees here, so its best he keep all his clothes on, he just doesnt listen. disrespepctful to my husband at times, yet always ask for things..to play wii, go on trips, new toys. he really doesnt deserve anything he has. i bought him nike shox for school because he wanted the shoes like mine and my husbands, plus hus godbrother who is 16 wears fancy shoes similiar to those for basketball, he doesnt appreciate them...if any of you have them, you know they are not cheap. i buy most of his clothes from old navy, so they are not expensive but its the principle of the whole thing. what would you all do in this situtation? whats an appropriate punishment for these antics? he is weeks away from 6 yrs old.

I am 20 wks pregnat and have had the flu since Saturday, vomiting, diarhea, etc...I've been readind about it and the effects on the baby, but nothing personal. I saw my midwive and they also diagnosed me with a UTI, has anyone had any experiences like this? How did it effect your unborn baby? Plese tell me about you personal experiences. Im not looking for medical advice, I have already received that, just wanted to know who all could relate.

His birthday is in November, so far I made reservations at Ruth's Chris (our first time) and we are going to a Rickey Smiley comedy show. What can I get him as a gift? Something small but meaningful..more than a card and a night of passionate lovemaking...I already have that planned...Let me know what ideas you guys have.

Our son was born 2-7-08. I stopped nursing at 5 mnths because he was teething and biting too much. Before then my periods were regular after delivery. Hubby and I have been having unprotected sex, we would like another addition. First pd after ending nursing I was 4 days late, this is my second pd and I am a week late. Cramps started the day my pd should have began, but no bleeding. Today is the day it shouldve ended, but nothing. Not under any additional stress nor any major weight changes. I plan to test next week if no pd. Anyone with similar experiences? Am I pregnant or just pd irregularities since ending nursing? I know both are possible and I know I need to test, I just wanted to know if anyone could relate. My last pd was July 17-21

I'm two days late and I feel sick...I have been hungry, but nauseus before and after meals. Hubby and I do not use protection being that we have been trying..but i really cant tell if im pregnant. i stopped nursing about 2-3 weeks ago, so my breast dont feel any different. i "felt" like i was going to get a visit from AF since saturday, but she hasnt yet came..i just want to curl up in a ball and sleep for days..i dont want to tell hubby until i am sure and i think of a cute way to tell him...i think he is more in tune with my body so he may already think something is up..what do you ladies think? im going to a place tomorrow where they give free tests.

if you were a victim of statutory rape and/or rape, as a young teen/child and now you have to go to counseling/therapy because of it, and you are stressed out and diagnosed as depressed..are those grounds to bring a civil/criminal suit against the perpetrator? Is there a statue of limitations?

our son was born feb 7 2008 via c section. we have been having intercourse since the second week after. today i got my period....i exclusively breastfeed but was not aware it would return so soon. has anyone had similiar experiences? maybe sex contributed?

i had a c-section on 2-7-08. i feel fine, no pain at all and have been out and about since i left the hospital. i want to have sex and so does my husband, is there any reason to wait? how long did you wait if you had a c-section?

im 39 weeks and 3 days, went to appt this morning, i am 1 1/2 cm dilated. i am ready to have this baby. she said if my cervix was "Ripe" than they could induce me between now and 3cm, because its not i have to wait until 41 weeks. i made an appt for next Friday, 2/8 that would put me at exactly 41 weeks. has anyone been told something similar? my due date is 2/1, anyone with similar date having some issues?

i am 39 weeks and 2 days due feb 1st. after sex friday i was spotting, last night went to hospital for severe back pain and they hooked me up to monitors. they showed verystrong contractions, but i couldnt feel all of them other than my stomach gettin hard. i was still 1 cm dilated, so they sent me home. i have stronger contraction s now, all day and was spotting still up until an hour ago...yessss!!!! im close, but how close to you all think i am to delivering? thisis my second child, but i was induced so i didnt experience water breaking, contractions, mucous plug, etc

I am currently fully employed, will be a full time student in the fall, I am 3 months pregnant, and have a 4year old. anyone have tips on a second income I can incur from home. so far, I have only found scams on the internet, but I am seriously inquiring about this.

the children/school/work is under control, I've been doing it for years and set to graduate in december 07.
