  • If This person I live with gets evicted?

I was living with a roommate giving him half the rent so he could pay it to the landlord, well come to find out a pink paper came to the door for court, I called the attorney and they said they couldn't talk to me because I am not in the case, The new owners knew I lived here and they said I could take over the place, but they haven't called me back in weeks after I called them numerous times. Is the eviction against just this person ,or the whole house, I live in Wisconsin

  • When someone passes away and you get there house. Cant you just get a loan?

Say a mom passes away and wills the house to the son, but she had some past medical bills. This son has good credit and the house is worth far more than the bills are, The son could just go and hand the bills to the bank, get a first mortgage on the house,{because the house is paid in full}, and owe a small mortgagee of 150 a month right.,if not less because if he takes it out as a mortgage he can have 15 to 30 years to pay it off.

I knew she was dating someone when she was staying with dad and always educated the kids on relationships, safe sex, birth control,ETC. Well come to find out without my knowledge her dad let her sleep by her 16 year old boyfriends house and vise verse, Even sleeping on the couch so they could have the bed. Now she pregnant. Do you feel her father is at fault,or at least partly. I think so because he put her in a situation. Can I press charges against him for this.

  • Do you think I'm right and should I sue? Landlord/Tenant?

Okay I will try to make this as short as possible. I have lived in my apartment for over 3 years. I have been having a problem with my door staying closed because it didn't line up properly with the locks. I have mentioned this to my landlord on 4 separate occasions. Well finally from lifting the door to lock it the screws stripped. I went and replaced the screws with longer ones and the door locked without problem. The owner of the property decided he was changing all the knobs and locks while I wasn't home with no notice to me. I came home to find the locks were changed but my keys still worked. Well they put short screws back in the door and a few days after, after coming home from the store at 4:30 pm I noticed I couldn't open my door. The screws on both sides of the bolt locked together. I went to the on-sight,she wasn't home. I also knocked on neighbors doors but no-one was home. The on sight was sometimes gone overnight or a couple of days in a row. Well after about a half an hour I broke in breaking the door jam. I had groceries in the car that needed to be put in the house and no-one would answer the phone for the owner of the property. I went and Told the property manager the next day and filled out a repair slip in oct of 2008. They didn't even touch my door till february 2009. I was placing things in front of my door to try and keep it shut. sometimes I would wake up to my door being totally open. I couldn't go anywhere because my door wouldn't lock. In February they put a slide lock on my door so it would at least stay shut when I was home, but still couldn't lock it from the outside.

All this time I kept asking her when it would be fixed, She kept telling me they ordered doors.

Well they finally fixed it in April of 2009, No new door, just a jam. And its still not completely fixed, There is no molding on it, there is a piece of wood sticking out of it and you can see light through the edges. She stated she was putting a new door on but only fixed the Jam.

Well I compaired my 2 gas bills and because of the problems I had with the door my gas bill went up $120 in 3 months before they put the slide lock on. I asked them to reimburse me for the gas bill,

The owner wrote and told me I should have called a locksmith or went to the on-sight or waited till I contacted them, It takes time to order doors because they are painted .

Well I never got a new door. this door has all the scratches on it from when i put things in front of it to keep it shut. It was a pain living with the dorr the way it was, anyone could have walked in and killed me and my family. I think they should compansate me for this, Especially with all the lies, What do you think?

  • My computer gets stuck, What is wrong with it?

I have never had this problem before. I press "check e mail" and I have to wait forever for anything to load. It gets stuck half way through the process. This happens even when I want to go on different sights. I did a disk clean up, a defrag, virus scans, even ran windows care, nothing helps. It takes forever to do something that usually took a second. Any suggestions on how I can fix this.

  • Why Don't they start building apartments and houses with solar panels?

With what we know today, why do they keep building new apartments and homes with the traditional electricity. Why can't they start making solar energy and windmill energy standard for new construction. With all the government grants and tax write offs there is, It can and should be done. With the rising prices of energy some people are left out in the cold, And no-one should suffer!!!! For the apartments that are already constructed and homes also, We all need to start a conversion. Maybe the people of america should get together and start our own savings to convert our energy ourselves, All americans, and leave the utility companies out in the cold for once!

  • Heres the best plan to save the economy, What do you think?

    >

    >

    > Here's a plan to solve the current economic crisis, what do you

    think?

    >

    > Here's a plan lots of folks could get behind!!!

    > ================================

    > I'm against the $85 BILLION bailout of AIG. Instead, I'm in

    favor of

giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a "We Deserve It" dividend. To

    make the

math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bona fide U.S. Citizens,

    aged 18+.

    >

    > Our population is about 301 million counting every man, woman and

child. So, 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up. Now, divide

    200 million, 18+ adults into $85 billon - that equals $425,000.00 each!

Yes, my plan is to give that $425,000 to every adult as a "We Deserve

    It"

    dividend.

    >

    > Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So, let's assume a tax rate

    of

30%. Every recipient would pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25.5

billion right back to Uncle Sam! It also means that every adult 18+ has

$297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife would have $595,000.00!

    >

    > What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595, 000.00?

    > . Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved

    > . Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads

    > . Put away money for college - it'll really be there

    > . Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs

    > . Buy a new car - create jobs

    > . Invest in the market - capital drives growth

    > . Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care

    improves

    > . Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else

    >

    > Remember this is for every adult U.S. Citizen, 18 and older

(including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehmann Brothers and every other

company that is cutting back) and of course, for those serving in our Armed

    Forces.

    >

    > If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it!

    Instead

of trickling out a puny $1,000 economic incentive.

    >

    > If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out

    every

    adult U.S. Citizen!!

    >

    > As for AIG - liquidate it.

    > . Sell off its parts.

    > . Let American General go back to being American General.

    > . Sell off the real estate.

    > . Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean

    it up.

    >

    > We deserve the money and AIG doesn't. Sure it's a crazy

    idea, but

can you imagine the coast-to-coast block party?!

    >

    > How do you spell Economic Boom? W-e D-e-S-e-R-v-e I-t

    d-I-v-I-d-e-n-d!

    >

    > I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion

"We Deserve It" dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in

    Washington, D.C.

    >

    > And remember, this plan only really costs $59.5 billion because

$25.5 billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

  • Wouldn't it be nice If you could get your child support all in one lump sum?

Just like they do if you win a settlement. They pay you a percentage and go after the people for the payments. Me and my kids would have so much with the 30,000 owed.

  • Instead of the economic stimulus check.?

Wouldn't it of been a better idea to take that money and put it towards a fuel grant to lower fuel prices so everyone could take care of themselves better, That would have boosted the economy more and would have been more long term then giving people 300 to whatever dollars to pay a bill. Gas prices are nuts.
