I am a freelance writer and photographer who's lived his entire life in Maine. I am also a 16-year certified baseball umpire. I do 11- and 12-year-old Little League games through American Legion. I try to lend my expertise as an umpire to the baseball group on Answers to rid the world of baseball rules ignorance. Unfortunately, evil seems to be winning, so it's going to take awhile for people to get it, which is sad. But certain people think they know it all, even if they can't support their answers with actual evidence.
