  • Printer skipping words within a line?

My printer (canon MG4250) is skipping portions of text within a line after printing the first few words on that line fully.

This isn't the usual top or bottom portion of an entire line missing if there were a clogged or misaligned head.

BSOD starting up 'crayon physics deluxe' now PC freezing on start up. Any help?

I just got the indie humble bundle and tried to play crayon physics but I got a BSOD on the 'sign up' screen for the game with an error for "nv4_disp.dll".

I have tried using CCleaner to clean registry and updating my driver for my geforce 7900GS graphics card but now I my PC freezes on the windows welcome screen.

I can start up and run my pc in 'safe mode' with no problems but I get freezes using 'safe mode with networking'

  • Can I use the gamecube controller for 'Top Spin 4' on Wii?

the main reason I'm doubting this game is the poor reviews it gets due to the controls, looks like a good game on PS3/Xbox 360.

  • Can you name the band/song (Rock)?

I saw this song video about 10 years ago and I'm just interested to see if anyone knows it. In the video you are following a fly, it lands on the drum symbols and then they get hit - flies to the guitar amp - solo - flies onto the microphone and the singer shouts into it scaring the fly off.

  • My PC shuts itself down whilst loading windows, why?

I decided to dust down the components of my PC today. I did it all unplugged and put things back carefully... except I decided to "fix" my front audio out port by rearranging the heads on plugged into the motherboard (stupid, I know).

In the motherboard manual it says "getting the switches in the wrong place can cause system malfunction". I've tried resetting BIOS but its still suddenly losing power on the "Windows loading" screen.

What is likely to be the problem? I don't want to buy a new MB and find out it's something else you see.

    Thanks

  • Why do I get ulcers so easily and other people never do?

every time I accidentally bite my lip I am guaranteed to get an ulcer there, I don't get them spontaneously. Other people I know can chew their mouths to shreds and not get one!
