  • Help me find the title of a book?

I saw on the Today Show about a month ago-ish a book interview. I'm trying to find the book but I can't remember the author or title name. Seems hopeless but I remember some of the interview. The book is about becoming better informed in the new year. How to make yourself smarter. The author made a point of being a non college graduate. White guy, kinda tall looking- he was sitting!! I'm grabbing at straws. Did anyone else see this interview- know of the book or something similar. Hopefully someone knows what I'm thinking about.

    Thanks in advance

  • My desktop pc keeps randomly shutting down, why?

Alright, the family computer has been around for years, and so has this problem. Someone can be using the computer for hours, using the internet, not using the internet, playing spider solitaire, whatever and the computer will just randomly shut down. There's no saving, no warning, just gone. If the computer is turned back on immediately after one of these random shut downs the computer will boot back up and log in to Windows and everything will be just fine, but the computer will shut down again in maybe 10-15 minutes, if not less. If the computer is left over night it may stay on for several hours or it may shut down again in half an hour. The inconsistency is annoying. I have scanned the computer for viruses numerous times but have come clean. I'm thinking this is a hardware issue, but I have no idea where to start to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
