Clipping dogs nails, which is better?

8 AnswersDogs9 years agoIntervertebral Disk Disease, would like some info please?
I have had my dog to the vet and she is on medication right now, so please don't say ask the vet. She is coming along very well but is not a hundred percent yet. I was given some information on Intervertebral Disc Disease because this may be what the trouble is if the meds don't work. My dog is a 9 year old beagle and she is a little overweight too. I would like to know if anyone's dog has had this and what was the course of treament, medication, surgery or any other options you may have been given and what was the outcome in the end.

7 AnswersDogs10 years agoCancer Prevention Diet for Your Dog?
I had a dog up until a week ago and had to put her down. She was a 10 year old spayed female beagle mix. We found out that she had tumors in her lungs. I didn't realize that older dogs are more prone to tumors until our vet told us. Does anyone have their dog on anti oxidents to prevent this from happening. I have a second dog and I don't want this to happen to her I could not bear to go through this again.
6 AnswersDogs10 years agoMy Four Legged Baby is Dieing?
My dog of 10 years has tumors in her lungs and the vet said last Thursday she had about a month left with us. One of the tumors is pressing on her esophagus and that will make her cough. She still wants to go for our walks which are very short ones because she is tiring out, she is drinking a ton of water and not eating a whole lot. The question I have is everyone keeps telling me that she will tell me when she is ready to go, is this true?

7 AnswersDogs1 decade agoHELP. Bringing a new adult dog into the house?
I have recently adpoted a 4 yr old female beagle. I already have a 6yr old female beagle(both are spayed and younger one needs obedience training). Any tips to help these 2 get along. There is no fighting, its just the older one growls and barks especally when they are going in or out, but her tail is wagging. She will sniff the younger one, but still wont get too close. They have been nose to nose for a brief second, but then the older backs away. Any help would be greatly appreciated
