I am thinking of installing a floor heating system and I am not sure what's the difference between electric heating and infrared heating. Can anyone offer some tips ?

Hello I have a bunch of images that look like this one http://mixandgo.com/example.jpg and I am trying to find a way to quickly remove them from their background (or actually make the background completely white). Right now I am using the pen tool but that's very slow for some images where the object doesn't have a lot of straight lines.

Is there a quicker way to do it ? The real problem here is the fact that the object and it's background have the same color.

Hey guys, I have recently relocated to USA and I am looking for a good book to help me figure out how to best manage my money. What I mean by that is, I've heard from friends about how you can easily get yourself into bad credit if you don't know what you are doing. I've also heard that there are various ways to earn more points for your credit, so it can grow faster.

All this is alien technology for me so I'd like a guide for dummies like book.

I have 2 laptops (one with ubuntu linux and the other windows XP) both connected to the internet through a linksys wireless router (wrt54gs). I can ping the gateway from the ubuntu laptop and I get ~10ms when the windows laptop is stopped. If I start the other laptop (windows one) the ping goes up to ~3000ms. I have no clue whats wrong.

I have a linksys wrt54gs wireless router and It's got this weird problem where after starting it (reset) everything is ok for about 3 minutes, I get a normal ping time 10ms - 30ms and after a few minutes the ping goes up to 1800ms - 4000ms with no apparent reason. This happens both on wireless and cable.
