  • Damaged passport (UK)?

I'm meant to be flying in two days (to spain, from london) and my passport has been through the wash. It's a bit scruffy and there is slight peeling on the corners of the laminated page, but the picture and chip look fine. Has anyone else experienced this and what do they think of my odds of being allowed to fly?

    Thanks

P.s. I've already called up the passport office and it's too late to get a new one,

  • Drawing histograms.........?

I know the basics of drawing a histogram, however could someone explain what I need to do when the groups are non-over lapping?

    e.g. 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8

Would I draw to the mid-points between the groups and if so would I have to account for an increase group width in the frequency density?

For the equation " y= (x-2)^3 - 6(x-2)^2 + 9(x-2) " Would I need to multiply out the brackets and then re-factorise or is there a simpler way to find the x axis crossing points and draw the line?

  • How can the EU constantly charge mircosoft...?

I'm just wondering wether anyone can give me a reason to why the EU constantly charge microsoft with anti-competition law, when their software is so open (i.e. browsers - really esy to change), when Apple are allowed to be as closed as they like (i.e. Ipod make up most of the MP3/4 market, yet it's not a problem that you have to have Itunes to use it).

  • Why has Wilkinson been dropped?

It's all in the title really. I don't see how dropping Wilkinson will help the problem, almost anyone who plays rugby can see the Danny Care can't give quick ball (he feels the need to hop, skip and jump before passing) so if Johnny stood on game line like everyone is saying he should, he'd be slaughtered with the number of injury passes he receives. And to Wilkinson's left the coaches have organised the back so far from the game line that Wilkinson has to drop or have to fling 30m passes away in the short amount of time he gets given by Care!

  • What is the point of foundation tier papers?

I'm just wondering what was the reason for splitting GCSEs into two tiers as oppose to the old one size fits all exam? All it seems to do is prevent alot of people achieving their full potential.
