    This measure would prohibit unmarried "sexual partner[s]" from adopting children or from serving as foster parents. The measure specifies that the prohibition applies to both opposite-sex as well as same-sex couples

    So can single people still Adopt? Can single Gay people?

    Does anyone else see how this doesn't make sense "I'm Gay and Single" so I can Adopt. But if I have a partner I can not

    Clinton - Democrat made the government smaller, more efficient, and fiscally responsible

    Bush - Republican government has gotten Bigger, overspent, and cumbersome

  • The subtle sexism of the GOP?

    My sister is simmilar to Gov. Palin "Got a masters degree while raising 4 children ect.ect.." After watching the debate she thinks the Republican party is extremely sexist. After the debate pundits were saying

    "She spoke in full sentences, and was able to express her thoughts very well. She won the debate"

    So it seems to her and I that women are looked at as so insignificant, that these are the excpectations of women.
