I am thinking about putting my dogs back on kibble but I want to know about how long a bag of food lasts. Here are the brands I am thinking about getting and how much my dogs will need of each food.

Merrick Grain Free 4lb bag - Dog 1 needs 0.60 - 0.69 cups per day & dog 2 needs 0.52 - 0.60 cups per day

EVO 6.6lb bag - Dog 1 needs 0.52 - 0.60 cups per day & dog 2 needs 0.46 - 0.53 cups per day

I have Creosote Bushes in my yard and would like to use some of the branches for my birds but can't find a site that says if they are safe or not. Also is the foliage safe?

I got a Betta last week and I thought he had the beginning stage of bloat but he never got the bloated appearance but he floats when ever he stops swimming and when he swims sometimes he will roll over and be swimming sideways. Other then that he seems normal. He is a doubletail with huge fins.

I am planing on getting two Rex rabbits but I have a few questions.

1) How old do they have to be to be neutered/spayed?

2) Can I keep two from the same litter together until they are old enough to get fixed?

3) Would it be better to get two males from the same litter at the same time or get the second one after the first one is fixed?

4) If I did get them at different times should I get a male and female or would it be ok to get two males?

5) How large of a area should I give them until they are litter box trained?

6) Should I free feed pellets when they are babies or is it the same as feeding a adult rabbit?

7) At what age do I introduce them to veggies?

8) At what age do I switch them to a adult diet?

I have a empty 4 foot long 50g tank and I want to have a large group of small fish and one or two center piece fish. What would be good stocking ideas? No angelfish or discus

My turtle's tank keeps leaking. It is a 50 gallon long that is 4 feet long and 18 inches tall. It has 1/4 inch glass and I have resealed it twice so I don't know why it keeps leaking. I got it used so I can't return it.

I am looking for a vet that will do vasectomies and tubal ligations in dogs/cats in the Riverside California area. I have only been able to find vets that are over 8 hours away. I would like to find a vet that is closer to me if I can. I have looked into spay/neuter and vasectomies/tubal ligations seem to be the safer way to go.

So from what I have read goldfish need 10x the filtration as the size of the tank so if I had a 100g tank I would need a 1000gph filter so what is a good brand of filter that can do that?

I really want to get two Goldfish but I would have to keep them in a 100g tank. From what I remember 2 feeder Goldfish would need 120 so is there any way that a 100g would be suitable? Like if I added extra filtration and kept it stocked with plants or is there any Goldfish that look like the feeder Goldfish but don't get as big? I know this sounds really stupid but I just wanted to know if it is possible. Also what is a quite pond filter. I will have them in my bedroom so the filter needs to be quite.

One of my Bettas has Bloat but it is in a divided tank so would my other fish get it? I have already given it a few tiny pieces of boiled pea and he seemed to be a little better this morning but I am worried that my other Bettas will get it.

I want to set-up a tank for Neon Tetras and Black Neon Tetras but I was thinking that I would want something else in there too. It will be a 20g long tank and I really like kribensis so would i be able to have a pair of those with Neon Tetras and Black Neon Tetras? If so how many of the tetras could go in there. Also if I can't put the tetras in with kribensis then what size tank would I need for just a pair of kribensis.

One of my Guppies had babies last night and I was wondering if I could raise the fry in my Fire Belly Toads tank. It is filtered and has the same temps as my Guppy tank but what I am not sure about is if the toxin that the FBT puts out would be safe for the Guppy fry. Most of the fry get fed off the my Red Eared Slider after 4 or 5 months so would it be bad for the turtle to eat Guppies that were in with my FBT for the first month or two of their life.

I found a black beetle with a red head and yellow wings. It is about 1" long. It was found in Riverside county California.

I have a 10g Betta barracks set-up that is heating up. It gets to 95f in the day. I turned off my heater and the lights because it was at 98f but I can't get it below 95f. Would a chiller be good in this small of a tank?

My Betta died so I have a empty 10g tank that is set up for three male Bettas. I don't want it to uncycle because there are no fish in it if that is even possible but I don't want to take any fish out of my 20g for this tank because the sections are to small and I don't want to stress out my fish. It would take a while to get the new Bettas shipped in from Thailand so I am not sure what to do right now.

will be setting up a viv in about 3 weeks and the store suggests Electric Blue Day Geckos but someone on the reptile forum said that I could put Pygmy Chameleons in it. I have never had a Chameleon before so I don't want to get one and wind up killing it so I wanted to know if this is a good set-up for them or what would be better for me to get. My reptile experience is limited to Cornsnakes, Kingsnakes, Gophersnakes, Leopard Geckos, Banded Geckos, House Geckos, Pacific Chorus Frogs and Fire Belly Toads. This is the setup

I just got a house gecko off craigslist. It is in a 10g long but I am making it a 10g tall. Right now I am misting it's cage twice a day and feeding it roaches in a bowl. I have a 60w light in a hood above it's tank. I am going to test the temps tonight to make sure they are 80f on the hot side. I also have branches in the tank with it. Am I doing ok or do I need to change anything? Also what will be the best way to heat a 10g tall since it will be glass on top.

I have two decorative birdhouses in my front yard but house sparrows have made nests in them. At first I thought that that was neat but now I realize that when the babies come out of the nest they will be killed by my dogs. I want to move the nest outside of my yard but don't want to make the parents abandon the babies
